While using saccharides as stabilizers for therapeutic protein drying is common, the mechanisms underlying stabilization during remain largely unexplored. Herein, we investigated effect of different saccharides, trehalose dihydrate (TD), dextran (DEX), and hydroxypropyl β-cyclodextrins (low substitution-HP high substitution-HPB), on relative activities enzymes trypsin catalase miniaturized (MD) or spray (SD). For trypsin, presence especially HP, was beneficial, it significantly improved enzyme activity following MD. The HPB preserved trypsin's MD SD. Adding did not show a notable improvement in activities. Increasing TD beneficial SD catalase, indicated by increased activity. Molecular docking molecular dynamics simulations oftrypsin with HP revealed influence their substitution binding affinity enzyme. A higher to bind itself observed simulations. Experimentally, reduction mainly MD, attributable droplet temperature than from experiments aggregation propensity modeling helped elucidate impact size preserving drying.

This study investigates the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) using Helianthemum lippii extract and evaluates their photoprotective, anti-hemolytic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory properties compared to various fractions, including total aqueous (AE), flavonoid monoglycosides (FMG), diglycosides/triglycosides (FDG/FTG), tannins (TN), anthocyanins (AC). is rich in bioactive compounds such as caffeic acid, p-coumaric gallic known for therapeutic potential. aims determine whether embedding these phytochemicals into Ag NPs enhances biomedical applications natural fractions. were synthesized through a green approach, physicochemical properties, size morphology, characterized. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used identify key Biological assays conducted assess photoprotective efficacy (sun protection factor, SPF), antibacterial activity (minimum inhibitory concentration, MIC), potential (percentage inhibition), hemolytic with sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) serving control. HPLC analysis confirmed presence compounds, AE extract. The spherical an average diameter 35 nm had adsorbed on surface. AC fraction demonstrated highest SPF (28.27), followed by TN (27.99), (23.20), (22.50), while FMG exhibited moderate (19.39) commercial sunscreen Avene® (40.00). superior MIC values 0.2 mg/mL against Pseudomonas aeruginosa 0.4 Bacillus subtilis, outperforming AE, which 2.81 mg/mL. Anti-inflammatory showed that achieved 79.8% inhibition at 400 μg/mL, surpassing (71.75%) (67.9%), comparable diclofenac (72.63%). Hemolysis revealed induced only 1.35% hemolysis, lower than (1.91%) significantly below SDS (90.48%). findings demonstrate lippii-derived exhibit enhanced anti-inflammatory, anti-hemolytic While slightly multifunctional bioactivities underscore applications. integration efficacy, making them promising candidates advanced pharmaceutical formulations topical protective agents.

Abstract Purpose: Resistance to chemotherapeutics is an eminent cause which leads for search of options that help in diminution Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDAC) by overcoming resistance issues. Caffeic acid (CFA), a polyphenol occurring many dietary foods known show anti-diabetic and anticancer properties potential. Methods: To unveil effect CFA on PDAC we carried out this research cells, following checked combination pre-sensitization effects CFA. Multitudinous web-based approaches were applied identifying targets then getting their interconnections. Results conclusions: Subsequently, manifested affects in-vitro analysis showing IC 50 concentrations 37.37µM 15.06µM Panc-1 Mia-PaCa-2 respectively. Combination index with different drugs was explored gave no significant results leading further investigate pre-sensitizing effects. reduced concentration doxorubicin both cell lines also triggered ROS generation determined DCFH-DA assay. Gene expression revealed acts differently triggers distinct signalling overcome resistance. Collectively, study investigated role as therapeutics mechanism mitigating sensitizing chemotherapeutics.
