Digitalization and greening are two major characteristics of economic social development, promoting the deep synergy these factors has significant practical relevance for employment. However, question whether between digitalization promotes or hinders employment not been answered in literature. Therefore, a synergistic framework was first constructed urban based on green pulling digital empowerment mechanism. By using data from 281 cities China 2011 to 2021, effects its underlying mechanisms were explored this study. The findings revealed that (1) development can indeed promote employment, result remains valid after numerous robustness tests performed. (2) Mechanism analysis enhance by regional innovation entrepreneurship increasing human capital investment. (3) Heterogeneity showed there more significantly positive effect tertiary industry, eastern central regions, among governments with greater preference innovation. (4) Further research shown prominent spatial spillover it matrix is replaced. These results offer policy references fully unleashing employment-creating thereby achieving high-quality development.

This study examines the impact of environmental judicial reinforcement on green technology innovation, constructing a progressive difference-in-differences model using firm- and city-level panel data from 2006 to 2019 taking successive establishment courts by Intermediate People’s Court in Chinese prefectural-level cities as quasi-natural experiment.
