The use of herbicides has risen considerably in order to increase agricultural production, and Ronstar® is one the popular organochlorine with oxadiazon as its active component. This herbicide a wide range effects on fish, including physiological, genetic, neurological, hemato‐immunological impacts. In current study, p‐Coumaric acid (P‐CA) was used feed additive for potential benefits rainbow trout ( Oncorhynchus mykiss ) exposed Ronstar using hematological, immunological, biochemical analyses. fish (16.02 ± 0.27 g) divided into eight treatments follows: C (negative control), P1, P2, P3 (0.5, 1, 1.5 g P‐CA/kg, respectively, no toxin), R1, P1R1, P2R1, P3R1 (12.5% toxin 0, 0.5, respectively), each replicate three. According two‐way ANOVA test P < 0.05), overall trend changes were growth, antioxidant enzyme activity (superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase), malondialdehyde level, humoral immune system (total immunoglobulin levels Ig)), lysozyme, complement 3 (C3), 4 (C4), ACH 50 , serum nitroblue tetrazolium, myeloperoxid. only parameters that unaffected by P‐CA globulin, albumin, cortisol; however, had negative all three these measures well. It found positive dietary may ameliorate dose‐dependent manner, best performance treatment + Ronstar. However, it crucial evaluate mitigating against some vital organs trout, especially liver, at histological future studies.

Feeding frequency is crucial for the growth and development of white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) at various life stages. Although higher feeding frequencies can enhance growth, manual methods significantly increase labor costs. Automatic systems offer a cost-effective efficient alternative, yet their application in intensive culture remains under-researched. This study evaluates different L. vannamei aquaculture tanks, focusing on performance, survivability, feed utilization, digestive antioxidant capacities, economic viability. Juvenile (3.85 ± 0.3 g) were cultured 63 days with 6, 8, 10, 12 times/day (A6, A8, A10, A12 groups, respectively) using automatic feeders, control group fed manually 6 (M6). Results indicated that improved final body weight, specific rate, conversion ratio compared to feeding. Among A6 A8 showed optimal quadratic regression identifying 7.83 as frequency. While enzyme activity remained consistent across demonstrated levels (superoxide dismutase (SOD) glutathione peroxidase (GPx)) lower lipid peroxidation (MDA), suggesting superior capacities. Pearson's correlation confirmed positive relationship between SOD GPx. Economically, achieved highest profitability. Consequently, 6-8 feeders recommended an feasible strategy this stage.

Abstract Aquaculture continues to expand swiftly and remains the fastest‐growing food industry worldwide amidst ever‐present threats from chronic stressors emerging diseases. Nutrition plays a pivotal role in profitability viability of aquaculture that steered paradigm shift therapeutic nutrition. Carotenoids, also termed tetraterpenoids, have garnered considerable attention owing their attributes immeasurable health benefits, which incited surge global demand. These biological pigments are recognized promote immune systems antioxidant defence mechanisms both aquatic vertebrates invertebrates. This review brings forth existing scientific evidence underscores notable roles carotenoids as biologically active constituents with anti‐stress immunostimulatory potentials farmed animals whilst explicating possible action. Empirical data unequivocally established modulatory functions on endogenous enzymes, innate adaptive arms response, well expression multiple immune‐related genes. The comprehensive information presented is beneficial deepen our understanding utilization potent stress alleviators immunostimulants cultured animals, translated into improved health. Advancements animal welfare could principally contribute reconstructing more sustainable industry. article may be useful for subsequent investigations towards further advances research innovation greener blue revolution solving challenge security.

Chinese mitten crab, Eriocheir sinensis, is a commercially ecological crab species in China. Ovaries are one of the major edible parts for female E. and their color flavor primarily affect consumer acceptance. This study investigated effects different dietary carotenoids on odor quality adult sinensis ovaries. The was fed experiment diets with supplementation 100 ×10−6 β-carotene, astaxanthin, lutein, canthaxanthin zeaxanthin, respectively, 70 days, while control diet without carotenoids. results showed that generated an orange-red coloration ovaries, astaxanthin significantly increased redness (P < 0.05). All carotenoid groups had higher total fatty acid contents than group. Moreover, β-carotene promoted ovarian deposition, lutein predominantly affected accumulation accumulated more aroma components (alcohols, ketones, aldehydes) by regulating metabolism acids These show potential substitute promoting coloration, can improve ovaries sinensis.

Barranca yajiagengensis, a novel filamentous microalga, can accumulate lutein under high-light and low-nitrogen conditions. It is well known that has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory immune-modulating properties. The purpose of this study to evaluate the effects including lutein-rich B. yajiagengensis powder in diet Trachinotus ovatus on growth performance, antioxidant capacity, immunity, liver, intestinal morphology. For aim, three experimental diets containing 0% (BY0), 1% (BY1), 5% (BY5) were formulated for six-week feeding trials. results indicated feed utilization, morphology not affected by different treatments. Fish fed with BY5 promoted ability activating Nrf2-ARE signal pathway enhancing enzymes activities. Furthermore, improved non-specific immunity antibacterial lysozymes complement system increasing nitric oxide (NO) content total synthase activity. Dietary supplementation liver exerted hepatoprotective effects. Therefore, as natural source lutein, potential safe non-toxic immunostimulant T. ovatus.
