To provide researchers with a comprehensive understanding of the Psychological and Behavior Investigation Chinese Residents (PBICR), this paper introduces its background features from four aspects. In terms design concept, PBICR focuses on various aspects mental health behaviors population, takes full account timeliness efficiency, adheres to original intention open data access sharing, builds high-quality database large-sample, multi-center, repetitive, nationwide cross-sectional promote mining exchange cooperation; in survey implementation, adopts combination population size-proportional, multi-stage sampling quota sampling, obtains through face-to-face field surveys strict quality control ensure representativeness reliability samples. Regarding output, PBICR's research content is rich updated line international hotspots, which can satisfy demand for needs diversified variables data. Previous results have had significant impact many fields such as public health, management, communication, psychology. Looking ahead, will gradually complete construction databases general sub-databases, pay attention special populations globally widespread areas, add perspectives tracking biomedical research, greater potential drive behavioral overall layout multi-dimensional.

Abstract Introduction This study protocol specifies the primary research line and theoretical framework of 2024 Survey Psychology Behavior Chinese Population. It aims to establish a consistent database residents’ psychological behavioral surveys through multi center large sample cross sectional provide robust data support for developing in related fields. will track public’s physical health more comprehensively systematically. Methods The was conducted from June 23, September 29, 2024, using stratified quota sampling methods. A total 150 cities across 800 communities/villages were surveyed, selected China (Despite extensive coordination, we have been unable contact our counterparts Taiwan region obtain relevant statistical data). questionnaires distributed public one on face by trained surveyors. included basic information about individual, personal status, family, social environment which individual lives, condition scales, level other attitudes towards topical issues. Supervisors quality control during distribution process returned questionnaires, logically checked cleaned analysis. Discussion Data collection has finished, scientific outputs based this development promotion strategies globally. In aftermath pandemic, it guide policymakers healthcare organizations improve their existing policies services maximize mental population.

Anxiety significantly impacts the well-being of university students. This study employs pandemic-induced lockdown as a quasi-experimental situation to examine students’ perceptions acoustic environment and anxiety levels, further investigating potential correlation between these two variables. An online questionnaire survey was conducted with 250 respondents from seven cities, across nine universities in China, encompassing both high- low-risk areas concerning pandemic. In addition, assessments at three selected sites on campus were conducted. The results indicate that reported an increase perception indoor noise, particularly voices instrumental sounds. Concurrently, sound pressure levels during generally lower, resulting quieter outdoor environment. A total 54% experiencing symptoms this period, those perceiving changes exhibiting higher anxiety. significant observed levels. Overall satisfaction negatively correlated being more pronounced groups prone anxiety, such women. Furthermore, loudness most prominently perceived positively stronger less men. Respondents showed high level tolerance for social/communal sounds, Conversely, natural electromechanical sounds These findings provide valuable insights mitigating through manipulation

Abstract Objective To develop a stratified screening tool through machine learning approaches for the Center Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CES-D-20) while maintaining diagnostic accuracy, addressing efficiency limitations in large-scale applications. Methods Data were derived from Chinese Psychological Health Guard Project (primary sample: n = 179,877; age 9–18) and China Labor-force Dynamics Survey (validation samples across spans). We employed two-stage approach: first applying Recursive Feature Elimination with multiple linear regression to identify core predictive items total depression scores, followed by logistic optimizing classification (CES-D ≥ 16). Model performance was systematically evaluated discrimination (ROC analysis), calibration (Brier score), clinical utility analyses (decision curve additional validation using random forest support vector algorithms independent samples. Results The resulting system consists of an initial four-item rapid layer (encompassing emotional, cognitive, interpersonal dimensions) detecting probable (AUC 0.982, sensitivity 0.945, specificity 0.926), enhanced assessment five items. Together, these nine enable accurate prediction full CES-D-20 score (R 2 0.957). This approach demonstrated robust generalizability groups > 0.94, accuracy 0.91) time points. Calibration decision confirmed optimal utility, particularly critical risk threshold range (0.3–0.6). Conclusions study contributes refinement CES-D developing learning-derived version, offering efficient reliable that optimizes burden excellent psychometric properties. design makes it valuable mental health programs, enabling stratification targeted allocation.
