Understanding the development of public data ecosystems: from a conceptual model to a six-generation model of the evolution of public data ecosystems

Network relations among open government data stakeholders: a structural social capital and ERGM analysis

Purpose The objective of this research is to methodically categorize the various types Open Government Data (OGD) stakeholders, and elucidate intricate network relationships among OGD along with underlying mechanisms that shape their formation. Exploring Open Data Affordances for Entrepreneurial Opportunity Recognition

<p><strong>Start-up entrepreneurs have an interest in open data practice. However, for start-up entrepreneurship is a concept that has not been thoroughly investigated. Also, there lack of understanding how utilise entrepreneurial opportunity recognition. Hence, the research explores affordances recognition amongst Malaysia. The developed three theoretically based questions from affordance theory. first question revolves around perceived to find business opportunities. second about actualisation third investigates facilitating conditions which enable actualise This qualitative employed online semi-structured interviews supported with documentary evidence as primary source. Thirty were conducted twenty-four who CEOs, founders, and co-founders. A Framework for the Multi-Dimensional Assessment of Interoperability for Open Data Ecosystems Development

The generation of social and economic value from the vast quantities data opened by governments has been much lower than initial expectations. It requires development cooperation ecosystems composed various public, private, non-profit actors. For these in order to generate open government (OGD), necessary conditions are, on one hand, availability a critical mass OGD and, other existence some level homogeneity interoperability among numerous portals websites providing them, which enables their combined exploitation that increases potential for them. This paper focuses latter develops Technical, Semantic, Legal, Organizational (TSLO) Interoperability Framework, conceptual tool designed provide structured multi-dimensional assessment capabilities infrastructures, based ‘European Framework’ (EIF) as well relevant literature.
