The digital economy plays a pivotal role in assisting the world tackling climate change. This paper explores intrinsic mechanism of on carbon emissions intensity. Initially, it scrutinizes suppressive effect intensity, as well mediating industrial structure upgrading, theoretical level. Subsequently, utilizes provincial panel data from China between 2010 and 2019 to investigate quantitative relationship intensity empirically. results revealed that, firstly, significantly diminishes intensity; secondly, confirms significant upgrading; thirdly, increased levels economic development, market openness, human capital, technological advancement, urbanization all have constructive moderating effects emission reduction facilitated by economy; fourthly, influence has spatial spill-overs. contributes an integrated analytical framework method for studying economy, Furthermore, offers valuable insight suggestions policy-making concerning economy's contribution reduction.

Renewable energy, energy efficiency, and nuclear research development (RER, EER, NER) budgets are immensely important to fulfill sustainable goals 7, 9, 13, by accelerating innovation, transition, climate control. The literature on the drivers of load capacity factor (LCF), a recently developed ecological quality measure, is mounting; however, roles investments in LCF largely unknown. Accordingly, this study assesses impacts RER, NER, financial globalization (FIG) using data from 1974 2018 for Germany. Advanced reliable time series tests (Augmented ARDL, DOLS, Fourier causality) adopted analyze cointegration, long-run impacts, causal connections. outcomes unveil that both green efficiency R&D promote enhancing quality. However, positive impact NER found be weaker than RER EER. FIG curbs degradation expanding LCF. Additionally, U-shaped connection between economic growth (ECG) confirms curve. Therefore, policymakers should focus EER preserve environment growth.

The European Union (EU) countries have declared the ambitious goal of providing carbon-free economic development. Considering this, EU are going to pursue relevant policies for a step-by-step refusal mining and coal energy, consequently reducing greenhouse gas emissions. analysis theoretical background showed that renewable energy is core dimension In this case, paper aims justify impact dimensions (knowledge spillover, innovation, environmental regulation) could boost penetration into all sectors levels. following methods applied test hypotheses: stationarity testing in panels; cross-section dependence testing; cointegration estimation heterogeneous parameter models. data obtained from Eurostat, OECD, World Data Bank. object research country period 2010–2020. findings confirm hypothesis on statistically significant innovation knowledge spillover energy. addition, regulation has mediating positive effect interconnections among innovations, should development appropriate regulations, which be effective transparent stakeholders.

The escalating levels of environmental degradation along with conflicts and incidents trade disputes among regional powers can exert a detrimental influence on the prospects for achieving sustainable development (SUD). Prior empirical works have tended to overlook contributions globalization external SUD. Furthermore, prevailing studies SUD often rely various metrics, economic growth measures, or adjusted net savings as proxies, which fall short in measuring multifaceted essence concept. Thus, this research work assesses heterogeneous effects globalization, conflicts, financial comprehensive index based environmental, economic, social factors from 1992 2019 twenty highest CO2 emitters. results derived application method moment quantile regressions (MM-QR) reveal that exerts negative impact but its effect shows diminishing trend when moving 10th 90th quantile. Financial likewise impedes SUD, degree hindrance quantiles ascend lower upper percentiles. External hinder only at higher demonstrating an increasing trend. mineral resources fossil energy pose these adverse exhibit mounting trajectory one moves quantiles. Finally, policy implications novel outcomes are discussed.
