Assessing e-learning readiness is crucial for educational institutions to identify areas in their systems needing improvement and develop strategies enhance students’ readiness. This paper presents an effective approach assessing by combining the ADKAR model machine learning-based feature importance identification methods. The motivation behind using learning approaches lies ability capture nonlinearity data flexibility as data-driven models. study surveyed faculty members students Economics at Tlemcen University, Algeria, gather based on model’s five dimensions: awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, reinforcement. Correlation analysis revealed a significant relationship between all dimensions. Specifically, pairwise correlation coefficients reinforcement are 0.5233, 0.5983, 0.6374, 0.6645, 0.3693, respectively. Two algorithms, random forest (RF) decision tree (DT), were used most important factors influencing In results, knowledge consistently identified factors, with scores of (0.565, 0.514) (0.170, 0.251) RF DT Additionally, SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) values explore further impact each variable final prediction, highlighting influential factor. These findings suggest that universities should focus enhancing abilities providing them necessary increase e-learning. provides valuable insights into university

Technological advancement alongside global epidemics stimulated the widescale implementation of e-learning. However, it is reported that e-learning in experimental phase and still requires fundamental improvements, particularly disciplines go beyond theoretical knowledge. The current study examines nexus between readiness, psychological motivation, technological skills, employability skills among hospitality management undergraduates. It also explores moderating effects student engagement on linkages these variables. To end, this adopted a quantitative approach used self-administered questionnaire survey to collect primary data. sample included total 428 participants who were recruited from undergraduates programs Egyptian universities using convenience sampling technique. Data analysis performing PLS-SEM Smart PLS 3.0 software. results confirm positive motivation both readiness underscores mediated role predictors outcomes. E-learning readiness (ELR) is critical for implementing digital education strategies, particularly in developing countries where online learning faces unique challenges. This study aims to provide a concise and actionable framework assessing predicting ELR Algerian universities by combining the ADKAR model with advanced machine algorithms Shapley Additive Explanations (SHAP). Data were collected through semi-structured interviews questionnaires from 530 students professors across universities, focusing on five factors: Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, Reinforcement. Eight models employed analyze data, selected their ability manage complex, high-dimensional datasets capture non-linear relationships: k-nearest neighbors, support vector machines, partial least squares, random forests, gradient boosting, decision trees, CatBoost, XGBoost. Results show that ensemble methods CatBoost XGBoost achieving best predictive performance ( $$R^{2}$$ = 0.811), reflecting explain variance ELR. SHAP analysis identified "Ability" as most influential factor, followed "Desire" "Reinforcement." combination of provides novel insights highlighting areas intervention, such enhancing skills promoting knowledge acquisition. The use this enhances interpretability, enabling stakeholders identify impactful factors implement targeted, effective interventions address key barriers e-learning readiness.

There has been a plethora of research on technological readiness and online learning self-efficacy across several fields in recent years. While some shown correlation between the two, vast majority investigations have inverse. Additionally, fitness sports higher education is lacking, particularly Philippines. In this study, 256 exercise science students from selected state university are surveyed to better understand nature connection TR OLSE. Furthermore, study used correlational analysis such as Pearson’s r multiple regression find out how four constructs OLSE were related each other. The results showed that significantly one another. Optimism, insecurity, inventiveness, discomfort—the dimensions—are also positively associated Results suggest students’ might be substantially enhanced if they more likely make advantage state-of-the-art resources made available through platforms. Herein proposed recommendations initiatives for further study.

Engineering universities in the South Asian region have been investigating efficacy of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) preparing their students to meet demands Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Evaluating students' motivations towards OBE is crucial for its successful implementation into engineering degree programs. This research aims explore readiness at one prominent Bangladesh. To achieve this aim, an instrument was developed comprehensively measure OBE. The survey with a 7-point scale, measuring six constructs proposed model, such as (a) Students' awareness, (b) Teachers' commitment, (c) Institutional support, (d) Perceived easiness, (e) motivation, and (f) Self-efficacy, administered pilot sample sixty-eight participants (N = 68) from two domains: Civil Environmental (CEE), Computer Science (CSE). final data collected cohort Three Hundred Seventy 370), distributed across four domains. A structural equation modeling (SEM) help Smart-PLS software conducted determine construct validity measurement model evaluate fit. Results analysis indicate no significant positive effect teachers' commitment (TC) on (SR). However, results reveal awareness (SA) perceived easiness (PE) also moderating role institutional support (IS) relation between exogenous variables (IS, SA, PE) endogenous variable recommends Support essential instructors implement outcome-based education education.
