Learning
engagement
among
university
students
is
a
critical
predictor
of
academic
success.
This
study,
drawing
on
responses
from
333
questionnaires
completed
by
Chinese
tourism
students,
employs
the
fsQCA
method
to
construct
configurational
impact
model
learning
engagement,
exploring
paths
and
mechanisms
its
influence.
The
study
finds
that
shaped
combined
influence
internal
external
factors,
with
factors—such
as
professional
cognition,
evaluations,
emotions,
self-efficacy—playing
foundational
central
role.
External
such
environment,
provide
additional
influence,
though
their
varies
depending
type
engagement.
A
high
level
associated
two
distinct
paths,

promotion

positive
evaluations

In
order
to
foster
students’
development
and
enhance
the
training
quality
within
tourism
programs
at
universities,
this
study
aims
investigate
relationships
among
professional
identity,
academic
self-efficacy,
learning
engagement,
university
support.
Professional
identity
refers
learners’
recognition
understanding
of
their
is
viewed
as
a
dynamic,
progressive
process
consisting
cognition,
emotion,
appraisal.
Data
were
collected
from
333
students
studying
Chinese
universities.
They
analyzed
through
SPSS
SmartPLS.
The
results
revealed
that
there
no
significant
correlation
between
cognition
engagement.
However,
emotions
appraisals
positively
influence
Moreover,
all
three
dimensions
exhibit
positive
effects
on
self-efficacy.
Additionally,
self-efficacy
demonstrates
impact
support
associated
with
increased
engagement
This
contributes
comprehensive
experience
facilitate
advancement
education
cultivating
towards
developing
career
commitment
in
industry.
Theoretical
