The present study aimed to extract polyphenolic compounds from lucuma ( Pouteria ) seeds using natural deep eutectic solvents (NADES) as a green, efficient, and environmentally friendly extraction. This was optimized by the Response Surface Method (RSM) comparing its predictive capacity with Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) Convolutional (CNN). Four NADES were prepared mixing lactic acid (LA) each of following reagents: sodium acetate (SA), urea (U), glucose (G), ammonium (AA), separately. yield total phenolic (TPC) obtained measured an optimization criterion Box-Benhken design. factors evaluated: time, temperature, seed flour (LSF): ratio. response variables TPC antioxidant activity. LA-AA selected because it exhibited highest value analyzed UHPLC–MS (Ultra-performance Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry). From RSM, optimal extraction parameters 80 min, 52°C, LSF: ratio 8:100 (w/v), obtaining 3601.51 ± 0.51 mg GAE/100 g LFS. analysis evidenced formation epigallocatechin isomers gallate. ability ANNs compared RSM demonstrated.
