Abstract Cigarette companies often utilize a logistics system where high-bay warehouse areas for semi-finished and finished tobacco products are located close together linked via trolley tracks. However, fluctuations in production tasks, such as adding new handling emergency orders, canceling existing can introduce challenges to production, including high storage capacity ratios limited transportation capacity. Therefore, this study proposes synchronized optimization method the warehouses designed improve efficiency. A allocation model is developed balance between two tackle ratios. The efficiency improved by minimizing stacker time optimizing shelf center of gravity, with warehouses’ serving key constraints. neural network introduced enhance predicting optimal number trolleys needed each functional area based on task volume, boosting overall Experimental analysis demonstrates that proposed coordinated operation enhances 36.82% 8%. This achieves cigarette enterprises designing shared coordination scheme locations trolleys. Lastly, effectively supports industry addressing dynamic demands provides valuable insights practical engineering applications.

In today’s fast-paced business settings, the metaverse as a shared marketplace has gained popularity and is helping businesses to develop crucial strategies in their pursuit of sustainable performance. However, lack understanding knowledge about effectiveness its related technologies creates barrier. Therefore, current study fills this gap uses organizational information-processing theory theoretical framework examine metaverse-related (artificial intelligence blockchain technology—BCT) direct indirect effects on performance, which no other examined. Using purposive sampling, sample data from 326 SMEs were gathered analyzed using partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). This study’s findings revealed that AI capabilities are vital for information gathering, analyzing, decision-making context. BCT facilitates ensuring transparent, visible, traceable, immutable supply chain, helps make it more resilient improves closed-loop chain (CLSC) system with positive technological advancements significant increasing performance (SBP). help organizations understand potential benefits AI-enabled SMEs’ presence metaverse. The investigation provides strategy managers gain competitive advantage, robust, enhance overall

Purpose: The purpose of this work is to understand the changes brought by artificial intelligence (AI) and big data analytics (BDA) supply chain management (SCM) sustainable manufacturing (SM) in developing countries context. It seeks identify key enablers, advantages, challenges implementing those technologies toward advancement UN SDGs. Design/Methodology/Approach: Cross-sectional survey research method was adopted; specifically, structured questionnaires were administered 356 mid senior level managers various industrial organizations Pakistan. Hypothesis testing done using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) determine relations between four variables, namely: AI, BDA, SCM, manufacturing. evaluation such drivers also involved proving demographic organizational factors as Technology Maturity Investment. Findings: This study further shows that AI BDA improve performance sustainability. can be pointed out has strongest direct effect on environmental efficiency waste saving. But there are certain limit adoption, budget issues, lack skilled IT people, culture goes against adoption. Implications/Originality/Value: paper presents important implications for policy makers well business strategists. require investment infrastructure development workforce human ability cope with change comes implementation these Two technologies. Such efforts enhance operational reliability, cost effectiveness sustainability environment. fills a gap literature providing empirical results from economy setting. helpful expand existing information about Industry 4.0 offer practical recommendations digitalization emerging economies.
