There are a large number of rammed earthen sites in northwest China. For thousands years, have developed series deterioration types that include surface weathering, sapping, cracks, collapses, gullies, and so on. Surface weathering is highly destructive type soil which erodes the all time. Flake peeling (flaking) one main manifestations weathering. In order to prevent flaking more scientifically efficiently, it necessary quantitatively evaluate its development stage degree. this article, Vajra Pagoda Jiaohe Ruins was selected as research area, we explored how use GIS analyze topography 3D scanning data. Meanwhile, using sequential minimum optimization (SMO) algorithm, authors effectively identify crust original wall (wall outcroppings following detachment crust) evolution flaking. Finally, roughness four facades calculated. The calculations show parameters D R s can well characterize period development, change rule first increases then decreases. This study proves feasible quantify degree employing morphological characteristic parameters. Furthermore, results provide basis for determining future heritage management efforts, leading rational efficient conservation.

Thermal conductivity is a key parameter characterizing heat and water transfer in soils. It difficult to measure thermal under freezing conditions. For this reason, some models have been proposed estimate the of soils, but most them failed mimic variation with temperature. In study, hyperbolic model three parameters (λ(0°C), α β) was relationship between subzero The λ(0°C), β were estimated via artificial neural networks. performance new 5 widely used evaluated measured conductivities. results show that accurately estimates soils during process. addition, performs best among 6 models, as indicated by RMSE (0.105 Wm−1K−1). mimics temperature can be incorporated into numerical algorithms for coupled mass cold regions.

In this thesis, a risk assessment framework based on the Pressure-State-Response (PSR) model is proposed for problem of crossing mined-out region in tunnel construction. The subjective weights indicators are determined by G1 method, objective improved CRITIC method combined with Random Forest (RF) machine learning and calculated using game-theoretic combination assignment method. On basis, two-dimensional cloud was constructed to merge frequency consequence degree comprehensively assess construction's safety across region. Taking construction project Huayingshan Tunnel Linshui County Sichuan Province as an example, eigenvalues each indicator were derived through expert scoring weight calculation, diagram drawn MATLAB software analysis. results show that medium risk, which environmental geological safety, structural stability main sources.
