Lignin, an amorphous biomacromolecule abundantly distributed in the plant kingdom, has gained considerable attention due to its intrinsic bioactivities and renewable nature. Owing polyphenolic structure, lignin a variety of human health activities, including antioxidant, antimicrobial, antidiabetic, antitumor, other activities. The extraction from various sources green sustainable manner is critical food industry. Deep eutectic solvent (DES) recently been recognized as class safe environmentally friendly media capable efficiently extracting lignin.
