Arctium lappa L. is a medicinal edible homologous plant, commonly known as burdock or bardana, which belongs to the Asteraceae family and abundant all over world. Genetic diversity assessment essential for A. germplasm resource conservation breeding. The techniques include morphological, biochemical, DNA marker analysis. However, limited number of available markers insufficient conduct related genetic studies. In this study, we conducted RNA sequencing cultivar 'Yanagikawa Ideal' developed SSR characterize population structure 56 accessions 8 wild relative accessions. A total 4,851 simple sequence repeats (SSRs) loci were identified. proportions mono-, di- tri-nucleotide repeat motifs 30.40%, 21.50% 33.10%, respectively. Purpose.
