Erigeron breviscapus, a medicinal plant rich in flavonoids with diverse pharmacological properties is an important resource. To maximize the utilization of these valuable bioactive compounds, ultrasound-assisted extraction combined response surface methodology was used to optimize conditions for total flavonoids. After comparing six macroporous resins' adsorption and desorption characteristics, AB-8 selected enriching flavonoids, its kinetics thermodynamics were investigated. The following parameters chosen as optimal dynamic adsorption/desorption experiments using filled column: sample loading concentration 1.14 mg/mL, flow rate 2 BV/h, elution solvent 70% ethanol, 1 volume 5.5 BV, pH 2, temperature 25 °C. enrichment, 5.16 times higher than that crude extract. LC-MS identified 54 flavonoid molecules excellent antioxidant properties.

ABSTRACT Monomer compounds from natural products are the major source of active pharmaceutical molecules, which provide great opportunities for discovering new drugs. However, contain a large number rather complex compounds. It is difficult to obtain high‐purity monomer products. Herein, we developed molecularly imprinted macroporous adsorption resins (MIRs‐PDA) selective target The response surface methodology was employed optimize fabrication parameters. separation performance MIRs‐PDA representative compound rutin thoroughly studied. We found that presented capacity (107.82 mg/g), high selectivity (selectivity coefficient 2.90), good repeatability, and reusability. can reach 78.5% equilibrium in 20 min, showing quick binding kinetic behavior. Furthermore, showed specific real sample Fagopyrum tataricum extract solution. study mechanism on spontaneous thermodynamically feasible. parameters adapted well pseudo‐second‐order model, there existed equivalent sites MIRs‐PDA. show promising application prospects

Abstract Background Natural products are an important source of drugs or lead compounds for the treatment senescence. The buds Wikstroemia chamaedaphne Meisn a traditional Chinese medicine to cure edema, schizophrenia and epilepsy. A flavonoid extract W. (FEW) was prepared from methanolic by our group previously, which including eight flavonoids with content (55.19 ± 0.32) %. In this study, anti-senescence effects related mechanisms FEW on D-galactose-induced PC12 cells were investigated first time. Results High doses D-galactose could induce cell senescence, whereas delay senescence decreasing SA-β-gal positivity, increasing SOD activity, reducing MDA levels, improving morphology, inhibiting cycle arrest down-regulating expression senescence-related proteins P16, P21 P53. Subsequently, potential underlying elucidated through integration network pharmacology transcriptomics. main signaling pathways involved found be cancer pathway, FOXO PI3k–Akt AGE–RAGE protein digestion uptake, etc. may pathway as revealed western blot experiments. Conclusion Our study that has effects. This suggest acts agent age-related neurological diseases.

The triterpenoids from Inonotus hispidus exhibit several valuable bioactivities, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer properties, making them highly sought-after for applications in functional foods. To obtain more I. with higher content subsequent application food, this study firstly screened a strain high triterpenoid yield the cultivation of fruiting bodies. Afterwards, static adsorption desorption capacities seven macroporous resins (MARs) body were evaluated via tests, MAR HPD-600 showed best performance. kinetics isotherms analyzed further using HPD-600, revealing that process followed pseudo-second-order Freundlich model, indicating spontaneous exothermic reaction. dynamic adsorption–desorption parameters subsequently to establish optimal enrichment process. With strategy, solution increased 26.72 129.28 mg/g, 75.48%. Conclusively, presents an efficient cost-effective technique extracting triterpenoids, it well-suited food production requirements.
