Various methods have been studied to speed up the wound healing process. Promoting rapid development of blood vessels, also known as angiogenesis, is essential this significantly accelerates skin regeneration. This study identified a polysaccharide from red alga Osmundea pinnatifida (PSOP) that promotes angiogenesis and healing. Firstly, we analyzed structural characteristics PSOP using various techniques such UV-visible spectrum, Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (X-RD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), high-performance liquid chromatography coupled refractive index detector (HPLC-RID). We evaluated antioxidant properties in vitro tests for DPPH free radical scavenging capacity, iron reduction capacity (RPA), total (TAC). Abstract Extraction of polysaccharides from Rhodomyrtus tomentosa berry (RTP) is essential for understanding their bioactive ingredients and developing functional foods, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals. This study aimed to evaluate the effects ultrasonic-assisted enzymatic extraction (UAE) microwave-assisted (MAE) on yield, physicochemical properties, antioxidant activity (RTP). The single-factor orthogonal experimental design revealed that optimal conditions ultrasound assisted RTP are at liquid solid ratio 35 mL/g, ultrasonic time 11 min, power 240 W, complex enzyme dose 2.5% with yield 35.67 ± 0.32%. FT-IR spectroscopy showed UAE caused less disruption polysaccharide molecular structure better retention groups than MAE. scanning electron microscopy results demonstrated ultrasonically treated samples exhibited a greater degree structural disruption, which could more effectively facilitate release polysaccharides. In addition, obtained by has ABTS radical scavenging method promising extracting high-quality R. based its high efficiency, outstanding activity.
