ABSTRACT Previous research on the detrimental consequences of employees' unethical pro‐organizational behaviors (UPB) has been based mainly cognitive dissonance theory. The authors suggest that moral disengagement theory and can be used to explain negative effects UPB. We conducted two studies, including a scenario experiment survey, test mediating roles identity moderating role performance pressure in relationship between UPB organizational deviance. results revealed impacts deviance through distinct psychological reactions are differentially moderated by pressure. Purpose Entrepreneurial orientation is critical to staying ahead in the current competitive hospitality industry. Drawing on theories of social capital, socioemotional wealth and upper echelons, this study aims highlight mechanisms through which CEO servant leadership enhances entrepreneurial orientation. Moreover, paper examines (1) mediating role internal capital leadership–entrepreneurial relationship (2) moderating family non-family firms. Design/methodology/approach Our industry sample frame was based several databases (SABI, Camerdata, INE). Large medium-sized hotels with more than 30 employees Canary Balearic Islands (Spain) were targeted. After eliminating duplicate cases entities no longer business, 597 remained. Complete information obtained for 176 hotels. To test our hypotheses, structural equation modeling partial least squares (PLS) Smart PLS 4 used. Purpose This paper aims to elucidate the efficacy of supervisor servant leadership (SL) as a strategic tool for preparing employees organizational change and adeptly guiding them through transformation process. Specifically, study investigates how such leaders cultivate emotional intelligence among employees, bolstering their capacity cope with, resiliently resist, change. Design/methodology/approach Our data were gathered from cohort 205 hotel following period substantial uncertainty.
