Purpose Much of recent academic and professional interest in exploring digital transformation enterprise systems has focused on the technology or organizations' external forces, leaving internal factors, particular employees, overlooked. The purpose this paper is to explore literacy employees as an organizational affordance capture contextual factors within which technologies are situated used. Design/methodology/approach We used evidence-based practice for information approach, undertook a systematic literature review 30 papers coupled with brainstorming 11 experts neglected topic its assessment. Findings This draws upon theory, develops novel framework conceptualization affordance. do by distinguishing at individual level level, assessing through Information/Cognitive Social Practice/Articulation affordances. Thus, our definition offers extension discussions IS regarding actualization bringing lens into process. Practical implications operationalizes levels, managers high-level tool assess their employees. By doing so, can achieve fit employees' capabilities that will support initiatives.
