Amidst severe ecological challenges and resource constraints, realizing the value of products—such as timber, non-timber forest products, ecosystem services like carbon sequestration biodiversity conservation—has emerged an innovative approach within realm paying for services. This study examines 35 cases product realization in China, using a comprehensive analytical framework encompassing policy support, market participation, endowment utilization. Utilizing qualitative comparative analysis method (cs-QCA), explores driving mechanisms behind realization. These findings indicate that guidance planning are indispensable value. Additional factors, such fiscal financial leadership from pioneering enterprises, innovation promotion, utilization both natural human resources, play varying roles across different grouping paths to degrees. The uncovers following three typical mechanisms: government-led; government–market hybrid; integrated type. reveals each region should choose appropriate path based on its unique conditions. research significantly enhances theoretical understanding provides scientific foundation formulation practical applications.

Introduction Realizing the value of ecological products (EP) is great significance to comprehensively promote green transformation China’s economy. With increasing demand consumers for green, environmental protection and health, tendency people’s consumption (GC) has been triggered. Based on theory sustainable development ecosystem services, this paper constructs relevant econometric models deeply discusses influence mechanism demand-side GC behavior E p realization (EPVR). Methods This obtains reliability data from statistical reports yearbooks, innovatively index system EPVR whose comprehensive indexes are measured by entropy weight TOPSIS method. In analysis stage, STATA software was used unit root test, cointegration multicollinearity test descriptive statistics. On basis, regression carried out constructing a two-way fixed effect model, mediating moderating model. Results discussion (1) The level generally not high with national average 0.156 in study area. area significantly different 0.311; (2) From results significant positive EPVR, passed series robustness tests; (3) influential mechanism, further affects affecting supply willingness EP, advancement industrial structure rationalization structure. Climate change is emerging as a significant threat to sustainable human development in the coming decades, and thirteenth of United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aims precisely mitigate this through practical action. We employ composite system synergy model measure between China's industrial innovation chains explore pathways for listed enterprises achieve carbon neutrality pursuit SDGs. The findings reveal an upward trend synergistic degree chains, with greater observed eastern regions. combined two demonstrates ability intensity emissions across digital advancements green technology. Additionally, disparities geographical location, marketisation, nature enterprise equity, pollution levels are found exert asymmetric effects on emissions. Moreover, finance emerges mediator enhancing inhibitory effect dual-chain emission intensity. Our results trigger important policy narratives: coupling interaction government market can deliver facilitate steadfast transition low-carbon economy businesses.

The realization of natural resource value serves as a critical entry point for advancing rural revitalization within the framework ecological civilization construction, representing an essential approach to balancing conservation and economic development in national parks. Based on clarifying logical relationship driving mechanisms between revitalization, this paper employs field observation in-depth interviews using Baishanzu National Park case study analyze how general control zones parks can promote under constraints through value. results indicate following: (1) By constructing “realistic background—pathway selection—model condensation—effectiveness analysis”, mechanism promotes be analyzed, with focus its pathways models. (2) realizing include integration, investment development, capital production operation, circulation exchange products services. These contribute various dimensions at different stages: assetization, capitalization, productization, monetization. (3) Within functional area parks, including restoration zones, traditional utilization recreation exhibition resources three modes: preservation, transformation, value-added enhancement, reflecting diverse approaches differentiated outcomes realization. To comprehensively value, it is first necessary fully identify regional endowments, objectives, developmental constraints. Second, should integrated pursue synergistic innovation. Finally, attention must paid achieving comprehensive benefits sustainable development. research findings provide valuable references high-quality revitalization.

Understanding the efficiency of agricultural eco-product value realization is critical for sustainable development and regional equity. Here, we present a comprehensive analysis spatiotemporal patterns disparities in ecological products across China’s 31 provinces from 2010 to 2022. Utilizing an advanced Super-NSBM model, quantify three dimensions efficiency: overall realization, economic conversion, social welfare realization. Spatial mapping dynamic evolution are conducted through Dagum Gini coefficient decomposition conditional kernel density estimation. Our results reveal key insights: (1) remains suboptimal, with gradual upward trend. Economic conversion outperforms which exhibits significant heterogeneity. A distinct east–west gradient observed, Western regions demonstrating notable progress despite initial inefficiencies. (2) Inter-regional narrowing, particularly between Eastern Central regions. While polarization Northeast China has diminished, show widening gaps emerging trends. (3) Regional differences predominantly driven by inter-group disparities, exhibiting lowest intra-regional variability. Cross-regional follow U-shaped trajectory, decreasing initially before rebounding recent years. These findings provide robust empirical foundation optimizing strategies product offer insights addressing spatial inequities development.

ABSTRACT Transforming the ecological advantages of grassland ecosystems into economic benefits while ensuring their long‐term health is an urgent but challenging question, particularly in karst areas characterized by significant spatial heterogeneity. This study selected three representative desertification control (KDC) within South China Karst (SCK) as research focus. Utilizing quantified values ecosystem products and realization rates, we applied a random forest model to analyze influencing factors. We found that: (1) The gross (GEP) per unit area increase with severity desertification. Conversely, value rate decreases grade increases, contradicting theoretical assumption that higher GEP correlates high rate. (2) Water, soil, climate, bare rock coupled human activities (e.g., engineering) affect structure GEP, which, turn, affects KDC area. Based on our findings, suggest leapfrogging can be achieved through artificial engineering ecologically disadvantaged areas, conventional belief more fragile environment results poorer advantages. However, it important note plant species diversity severe low, trade‐off equity between ecology economy must carefully considered future planning. Our findings serve reference for subsequent phases restoration sustainability regions.
