Abstract Moral identity is an important moral variable which has positive functions, such as contributing to prosocial behaviours, reducing antisocial and resisting the risk factors of behaviours. However, little known about neural correlates basis effect on including disengagement. In this study, we explored these issues in 142 college students by estimating regional homogeneity (ReHo) through resting‐state functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). The whole‐brain correlation analyses found that higher internalized was correlated with ReHo precuneus. Furthermore, precuneus negatively disengagement, suggesting functions mechanisms identity. These findings deepen our understanding individual differences provide inspiration for education intervention disengagement from perspective brain.

This study investigated the emotion regulation effect of displaced aggression among junior high school students after provocation through two experiments. Experiment 1 examined on negative and positive emotions low- high-level provocation. The results showed that only did individuals experience a significant decrease in increase engaging aggression. 2 explored aggressive intensity indicated that, terms changes emotions, low-intensity Regarding both high-intensity resulted decreases In conclusion, this research highly provocative situations, students, especially aggression, could emotions. These support emotional theory However, considering violates social norms, efforts should be made to avoid regulating their instead guiding them toward using more appropriate methods for future practical applications.

The different influencing factors and mechanisms of the two basic kinds aggression (i.e., reactive proactive aggression) are salient. However, they also have common mechanisms, which ignored to some extent. In addition, discovering is conducive further revealing nature law aggression. To address these issues, this study tested a relational model incorporating angry rumination, moral disengagement, harm aversion, aggression, from perspective aggressive motivation. A total 1,186 undergraduate students eight universities were recruited. results showed that rumination was significantly associated with Importantly, disengagement acted as mediator, aversion moderator in effect on Specifically, enhancement effects low levels relationships due it could promote mediator disengagement. An motivation developed comprehensively explain mediating moderating effects. present contributes greater understanding how motivations shape behavior. These findings support extend current theories, especially theories. This provide insights for targeted prevention interventions.

Abstract There is solid evidence for the prominent involvement of central autonomic and default mode systems in shaping personality. However, whether functional connectivity these can represent neural correlates predictors individual variation personality traits largely unknown. Resting‐state magnetic resonance imaging data 215 healthy young adults were used to construct sympathetic (SN), parasympathetic (PN), (DMN) networks, with intra‐ internetwork measured. Personality factors assessed using five‐factor model. We examined associations between network connectivity, followed by performance prediction based on connectome‐based predictive modeling (CPM), a recently developed machine learning approach. All (neuroticism, extraversion, conscientiousness, agreeableness) other than openness significantly correlated SN, PN, DMN. Moreover, CPM models successfully predicted conscientiousness agreeableness at level connectivity. Our findings may expand existing knowledge regarding substrates underlying
