This study aimed to examine the mental status of mothers whose children were hospitalized during COVID-19 pandemic, especially in places where risk factors are higher such as pediatric intensive care units, and contribute development psychological health policies, for these high-risk groups epidemic situations.This descriptive cross-sectional was conducted between January 2021 July 2021. The population unit period. Data collection carried out via a face-to-face interview method by experienced nurses working clinics using sociodemographic data form, Beck Anxiety Inventory, Depression Fear Coronavirus Inventory.The median age participants 33 (min: 21, max: 50). score affected child's diagnosis, location, history (* P = 0.011, ** 0.018, *** 0.002, respectively). Abstract Associations between breastfeeding intention, duration and post‐natal depression (PND) have been shown in pre‐COVID‐19 studies. However, studies during COVID‐19 not examined the associations practices, PND an international sample of women, taking into consideration related factors. This is first study to address this gap as both may be affected by COVID‐19, important long‐term effects on women's infant's health. A cross‐sectional internet‐based survey was conducted with 3253 women from five countries: Brazil, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom July November 2021. The results showed that who intended breastfeed pregnancy had lower odds having than did intend to. Women no intention but actually breastfed greater (AOR 1.75) breastfed. While there statistical significance expressed breast milk feeding multivariable logistic regression models, shorter directly they planned 1.58) those longer even after adjusting for covariates including COVID‐19‐related variables. Objective: to evaluate the association between different forms of childhood trauma and postpartum depression in Brazilian puerperal women. Method: this cross-sectional survey included 253 women who were evaluated using Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale Childhood Trauma Questionnaire. Métodos Realizou-se busca sistemática nas plataformas PubMed Scielo partir estratégia elaborada com descritores termos-chave. Os processos seleção artigos extração dados foram realizados por duplas independentes pesquisadores. Resultados Ao todo, incluídos revisados 94 artigos. A maioria dos apresentava delineamento transversal conduzida região Sudeste do país. Depressão (n=51) ansiedade (n=29) mais estudados. mediana prevalência depressão pré-natal pós-natal nos 16,9% 20,8%, respectivamente, alguns indicam sintomas 80% das participantes. presença suicídio variou entre 6,3% 23,53%. Apesar pouco avaliados estudos, transtorno bipolar psicóticos demonstram ser estão associados piores desfechos materno-infantis. The COVID-19 pandemic increased maternal distress and demand for social support educational services, while restriction measures decreased the availability of these services.The Godmother Project, a person-centered, WhatsApp-based health education initiative, was created after all in-person perinatal activities offered at 3 Brazilian hospitals were canceled in 2020. project developed response to pregnant/postpartum women who called with questions care professionals (HCPs). Health nurses teamed up staff from communication department design (1) provide direct channel between HCPs answer health-related questions, (2) offer reliable virtual material, (3) identify need additional assessment/referrals, (4) each woman continuous specific nurse educator (Godmother), (5) forum where going through similar experiences could interact.The provides WhatsApp groups 25-30 Godmother. It also offers access library materials prepared women's needs/demands. project, which began July 2020 1 group 5 Godmother, currently has 305 groups, 6,942 active participants, 4 Godmothers.
