Abstract BACKGROUND Crops are consistently under siege by a multitude of pathogens. These pathogenic microorganisms, including viruses and bacteria, result in substantial reductions quality yield globally inducing detrimental crop diseases, thus posing significant challenge to global food security. However, the biological activity sepectrum commercially available pesticides is limited pesticide efficacy poor, necessitating urgent development broad‐spectrum efficient strategies for disease prevention control. RESULTS The bioassay results revealed that certain target compounds demonstrated outstanding vivo antiviral against cucumber mosaic virus tobacco virus. In particular, compound D6 showed remarkable CMV, significantly higher than control agent ningnanmycin. Mechanism action studies have shown could enhance defense enzymes upregulate expression genes related resistance, thereby enhancing effects plants. addition, these displayed superior inhibitory plant bacterial diseases. For Xoo , D10 an excellent effect was better bismerthiazol. Scanning electron microscopy fluorescence double‐staining experiments effectively inhibited growth disrupting cell membrane. CONCLUSION A series trifluoromethyl hydrazone derivatives were designed synthesized, it found they on this study mechanism active their potential as multifunctional protectants. © 2024 Society Chemical Industry.

A multitude of biotic and abiotic stress factors do harm to plants by bringing about diseases inhibiting normal growth development. As a pivotal signaling molecule, salicylic acid (SA) plays crucial roles in plant tolerance responses both stresses, thereby maintaining improving yields under stress. In view this, this paper mainly discusses the role SA stresses plants. regulates expression genes involved defense pathways, thus enhancing immunity. addition, mitigates negative effects acts as molecule induce stress-responsive synthesis stress-related proteins. also improves certain yield-related photosynthetic indexes, crop yield On other hand, with molecules, such jasmonic (JA), auxin, ethylene (ETH), so on, regulating This reviews recent advances SA’s tolerance, provide theoretical references for further studies concerning decryption molecular mechanisms improvement management

The conformational restriction switch concept has been adopted as a major tool for structural optimization of pharmaceuticals in order to expand the chemical structure scope and improve therapeutic activity against specific proteins. Several 1-aminocyclobutanecarboxylic acid derivatives produced this way exhibited satisfactory antifungal vitro compared with positive control boscalid. In tests revealed that compound A21 had comparable, even higher Rhizoctonia solani (R.s., EC50 = 0.03 mg/L) Botrytis cinerea (B.c., 0.04 than fluxapyroxad 0.02 mg/L; B.c., 0.20 boscalid 0.29 0.42 mg/L). Furthermore, A20 was successfully screened good inhibitory porcine SDH, its IC50 value 3.73 μM, which considerable potency (IC50 3.76 μM). mode action determined using SEM membrane potential research. effects substituent steric hindrance, electrostatic property, hydrophobicity, hydrogen-bond fields on structure–activity relationships were elaborated by reliable models comparative molecular field analysis similarity index analysis. density functional theory simulations, molecule potential, docking also used study probable binding target compounds flexible fragments. results showed scaffold could be lead discovering new succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors.

Plant resistance inducers that activate plant defense mechanisms may be useful in reducing agrotoxic use. Lettuce is among the most economically important leafy vegetable crops world. Since lettuce propagates through seeds, use of high-quality seeds extremely for establishing crop. Several studies have demonstrated potential alternative methods seed treatment with aim increasing productivity. Based on this premise, we tested effect rBASIDIN effector regarding its ability to induce germination and physiological changes seedlings treatment. The were treated 30 min by soaking 50 µg mL -1 , 75 100 recombinant protein rBASIDIN. Seeds distilled water 10 mmol Tris-HCl served as controls. parameters evaluated percentage at 4 7 days, seedling length (aerial part root), dry fresh mass, electrical conductivity, enzymatic activity. germinated earlier than Treatment a concentration resulted an average root 1.51 cm, while lengths controls (H 2 O buffer) 0.86 0.70 cm respectively.
