Many studies have investigated how organizational support systems, remote work adaptation, and control over scheduling reduced psychological burnout occupational stress, thus improving employee wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic. This systematic literature review has analyzed significant published peer-reviewed evidence concerning employees lacking constant outbreak experienced escalated job demands, professional strain, low satisfaction performance, increased burnout. Throughout February 2023, a quantitative covering scholarly databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, ProQuest was performed, with following search terms: “COVID-19” + “remote burnout,” “professional stress,” “employee emotional exhaustion.” By inspecting research between 2020 2022, total 311 articles satisfied eligibility criteria. Excluding sources in PRISMA terms, 44 empirical were finally selected. Methodological quality assessment tools Assessing Quality Systematic Reviews (AMSTAR), Appraisal tool for Cross-Sectional Studies (AXIS), Mixed Methods Tool (MMAT), Review Data Repository (SRDR) employed. visualization (VOSviewer Dimensions), integrating layout algorithms bibliometric mapping, harnessed. The current research seeks to adopt insight from stressor-strain-outcome paradigm and a moderated mediation model examine how technology anxiety moderates direct indirect relationships between compulsive use technostress, life satisfaction.
