With the continuous advancement of industrialization, global environmental problems are becoming increasingly severe. Maintaining economic growth while improving environment has been an important issue for many countries, especially developing countries. As industry is a major source pollution, industrial green transformation and upgrading have become particularly important. In era digital economy (DE), there new path upgrading. Based on provincial data from 2008 to 2021, difference-in-differences (DID) model was constructed analyze benefits. New pathways trade-offs between improvement in China presented. addition, ideas concerning issues DE The present study indicates that reduced intensity pollution emissions elevated total factor productivity (TFP), which helped promote Further mechanism testing showed promoted by utilization energy resources promoting technological innovation. Considering resources, decreased China’s consumption coal, water consumption, share coal increased clean consumption; these effects optimized efficiency structure contribute industry. Regarding innovation, development innovation output R&D input. Furthermore, it with respect processes, accelerating realized

Low-carbon economic development is at the heart of post-pandemic green recovery scheme worldwide. It requires without compromising on environment, implying a critical role that productivity plays in achieving carbon neutrality goal. Green measures quality growth with consideration for energy consumption and environmental pollution. This study employs slacks-based measure directional distance function (SBM-DDF) approach Malmquist-Luenberger (ML) index to calculate its components 30 provinces China between 2001 2018. Using spatial panel data model, we empirically analyzed conditional β-convergence China's productivity. We found overall, since 2001, has demonstrated continuous upward trend. When taking into account factors, demonstrates significant β-convergence. In terms regional effects, results indicate eastern western regions club convergence, more balanced development. Moreover, convergence rate increases addition regulation variable, so corresponding time decreases. indicates regulations help facilitate productivity, narrowing gap The findings provide guideline low-carbon from perspective.

It has become a new trend for the future development of Chinese agriculture to accelerate transformation from increasing production improving quality and realizing green growth. This paper uses sequential DEA measure agricultural total factor productivity (GTFP) 306 cities 1996 2017, then tests its convergence. The results show that average growth rate GTFP is 0.58%; main driving force coming technical progress. convergence dual characteristics stages regions, significant σ only exists in central region during 1996–2003. There β at national level, eastern neither nor divergence western region. However, 2004–2017, had Finally, conditional speed higher than absolute convergence, central.
