The Gross Ecosystem Product (GEP) is an important way to assess the state of ecosystem and clarify coupling coordination between economic system, which can be a scientific basis for achieving synergistic development society ecological civilization. In this paper, 11 prefectural cities in Jiangxi Province are taken as research areas. Based on data land use, normalized difference vegetation index, net primary productivity, soil, meteorology, elevation statistics, study accounts GEP 2010 2020 based biophysical model, analyzes changes its ecosystem’s state. obtained from Statistical Yearbook, regional index system was established; levels economy were measured with help entropy-weight-TOPSIS method, interaction mechanism dynamics them explored degree model. It found that during 2010–2020, increased by 0.35%, value material goods cultural services 49.57% 414.03%, respectively, but regulating decreased 9.89%; main coupled coordinated characteristics developed basic coordination-economic lagging moderate coordination-ecological lagging, continues improve, gross product lags behind level development.

Ecological assets refer to natural resource that can provide ecological products and services for human beings. Researching the supply of contributes sustainable development natural–social–economic complex systems. This study conducts a literature search statistical analysis based on Web Science, CNKI Foreign Journal Resource Service System Guizhou Normal University Library databases. We review 117 publications studies supply. Based summarizing landmark results, key scientific issues need be solved are proposed, their implications karst rocky desertification control discussed. The results show that: (1) number each year from 2001 2020 shows fluctuating growth trend. (2) research concentrates four dimensions: theoretical, evaluation, mechanism, strategies research. Among them, evaluation is focus hotspot (3) It necessary expand definition distinction assets, products; system mechanism perspective endowment ecosystem coherence at different scales. (4) should assets’ management promote capacity products, pay attention quality assessment explore influencing its optimization promotion paths strengthen village ecosystems under control.

Abstract Understanding how ecosystem services (ES) and disservices (EDS) are affected by human-induced landscape changes is important to minimise trade-offs maximise synergies between Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets, for equitable development across governance scales. However, limited research investigates ES EDS can change under past, current, future land uses. This study, conducted in the Luanhe River Basin (LRB), demonstrates interaction humans environment uses at river basin scale China, using a stakeholders’ participatory capacity matrix characterise both EDS. Results indicate that forests water bodies provided highest overall capacity, while lowest scores were reached built-up unused areas. Built-up cropland EDS, bodies. By applying potential index (ESPI) (EDSPI), we found ESPI of all declined from 1980 2018 would continue decline until 2030 without sustainable conservation strategies LRB. The EDSPI scenarios was projected increase compared baseline 1980. study recommends establishing implementing environmental protection policies cross-regional trans-provincial eco-compensation schemes minimising ES. proposes an integrated framework could be useful understanding effect historical human–environment interactions on SDGs achievement.

ABSTRACT Neglecting integrated management may exacerbate the imbalance between supply and demand of ecosystem services (ESs) in transboundary watersheds. Although strategies such as payments for watershed (PWS) have been implemented to mitigate externalities ESs, complexity watersheds is often underestimated, diminishing their effectiveness. This study proposed a comprehensive framework assess dynamics recreational service China's Xin'an River, identifying driving factors. Results showed that: (1) growth rate upstream (50.5%) was higher than that downstream (8.4%) during period; (2) lower downstream. observation corroborated through choice experiments; (3) exhibited significant supply–demand with 74.5% oversupplied. These results suggest environmental are not fully internalized, especially areas; (4) identified road accessibility, land degradation, preferences key insights offer new perspective on internalization PWS can inform development policies region‐integrated management.

Recent centuries have witnessed a considerable economic growth, but also been accompanied by ecological deterioration which has led to the utility decline in every hard-won material wealth. Here we proposed comprehensive framework for detecting these growth expenses, combining ecosystem services chain with economics principles. Remote sensing products, biophysical process modeling, and inferential geostatistics were comprehensively used tracing quantity quality of natural capital, total amount, fairness human well-being both aspects last two decades China. We find that although capital condition most parts China are rising, they declining economically developed regions where vast majority people lives. Furthermore, this is unequal, affecting different due spatial mismatch between population services. Further promoting China's environment-friendly industrial system transaction products may help alleviate inequity well-being. This aims provide an interdisciplinary dashboard identify deal risks on our way prosperity either within or beyond
