Developing countries suffer from greater energy vulnerability and therefore decreased resilience to shocks. This feature significantly influences the innovation process which fact calls for selected explorations disentangling behavioural aspects of socioeconomic ecological features associated with policy. Such an inquiry has purpose detect efficiency characteristics connected renewable innovation, pollutants their contribution enhancing in developing countries. returns important information on human behaviour related use policy interventions. To reach these goals, non-parametric Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is exploited along Tobit model. Energy sustainable development data are scrutinised a total 148 transition economies. It thus emerges that improves efficiency, acting analysed Renewable improve performance both case carbon emissions particulates. These outcomes clarify possible role less industrialised finding seems suggest environmental implications modelling.

Abstract Scholars, politicians, and practitioners have recently advocated that eco‐innovation (EI) is critical to achieve the circular economy (CE) vision. While much of available body knowledge on EI has predominantly focused “eco‐efficient” incremental technological innovation, a successful CE transition requires systemic “eco‐effective” innovation. Yet, little known about what barriers drivers are stimulating innovation in different sectors regions. This research aims deliver an identification major impede or facilitate European polyurethane plastics industry. A hybrid approach applied using original combination inductive GABEK method (“GAnzheitliche BEwältigung von Komplexität”—holistic processing complexity) with deductive consideration existing theories. Novel findings indicate largely materialize individual firm intra‐industrial levels, while primarily manifest beyond immediate industrial boundaries (inter‐/cross‐industrial). The key contribution lies revealing necessity reframe focus from mere “optimization”, which been discussed contemporary literature, collective (horizontal) “coordination” challenge across industries enable functional In addition, five strategic deliberations proposed further advance management activities.

To provide evidence at the micro level for cracking Solow productivity paradox, this paper deeply studies impact of enterprise digital transformation on green innovation. In terms theoretical research, three potential mechanisms are excavated first time; considering empirical a series strict causal effect identification strategies carried out. The results show that can significantly promote innovation, and it passes robustness tests endogenous tests. According to results, policy suggestions mainly include five points: helping enterprises accelerate transformation; strengthening innovation ability enterprises; reducing internal external costs promoting professional division labor; piloting policy; enhancing corporate social responsibility. It provides reference experience path other countries follow in implementing strategy sustainable development strategy.
