The outbreak of epidemics such as African swine fever has intensified the use disinfectants in pig farms, resulting an increasing residual concentration environmental media; however, high-frequency excessive that damage farm manure anaerobic fermentation systems and their mechanisms not attracted enough attention. Especially, complex effects on for remain poorly understood, thus impeding application practical systems. Herein, we explored glutaraldehyde disinfectant methane production, effluent physicochemical indices, microbial communities a fully automated methanogenic potential test system (AMPTSII). results show adding led to remarkable alterations chemical oxygen demand (COD), volatile solids (VS), polysaccharide phosphorus concentrations. During process, production displayed notable decrease 5.0–98% all treatments, trend was especially apparent treatments containing high levels glutaraldehyde. Comparisons quality showed presence 0.002–0.04% glutaraldehyde, COD total (TP) increased by 12–310% 15–27%, respectively. Moreover, addition 0.01–0.08% decreased ammonium (NH4+-N) VS degradation rate 7.7–15% 4.9–26.2%. Furthermore, microbiological analysis had adverse community. Notably, certain functional bacteria were restrained, highlighted decreases relative abundance diversity 1.3–17% 0.06–21%, This study provides theoretical basis rational

Developed countries with animal husbandry are confronted the pressing issues of ensuring stable livestock product supplies while maintaining ecological sustainability. Additional research is required to ascertain whether environmental regulation can effectively facilitate green transformation and establish a harmonious equilibrium between protection economic growth. It essential for empirical development policies in husbandry, as it evaluates impact regulatory measures on this sector’s efficiency precisely investigates underlying mechanisms these effects. This paper nonlinear using super-efficiency EBM model, spatial Durbin panel threshold which based data from 31 Chinese provinces (2010–2022). Swine wastewater contains large amounts of organic matter, nutrients, toxic metal elements, and antibiotics. If it is directly discharged or not properly treated, poses a significant threat to the environment human health. Currently, management swine has become focus social attention, adopts dual-track parallel model standard discharge supplemented by resource utilization. treated properly, can achieve recycling water resources promote effective recovery resources. Based on pollution characteristics wastewater, this paper analyzes its impact environment, society, economy in detail expounds research progress treatment technology. In recent years, the rapid development of pig farming has led to a large quantity heavy metal-polluted wastewater. Thus, it was desirable develop simple metal detection method for fast monitoring wastewater from farms. Therefore, there an urgent need rapidly detecting ions in farm Herein, electrochemical simultaneous Cu2+ and Zn2+ developed applied With glassy carbon electrode anodic stripping voltammetry, water achieved without complicated modification. Furthermore, found that addition Cd2+ can enhance response current Zn2+, which increased signal by eight times. After systematic optimization, limit (LOD) 9.3 μg/L 45.3 obtained. Finally, successfully quantification with high accuracy This work provided new solution farms demonstrated potential measurement application modern animal husbandry.

To evaluate the effects of type and proportion bulking agents on compost maturity, chicken manure feedstock (J) was selected as main raw material for aerobic composting, wood chips (M), straw (S), cornmeal (Y) were used agents. The ratios to three set at 1:3, 1:1, 3:1, respectively. mixture composed (M) in a 1:1 ratio exhibited highest temperature (75 °C). treatment with bulking-agent-to-feedstock 3:1 lowest (52 °C) longest high-temperature period (about 10 days). Moreover, seed germination index (1.32), while GI values all treatments did not meet standard requirements (0.4). predominant microorganisms included Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, Actinobacteria, Proteobacteria. total carbon transformation-related microorganism abundance MJ31, SJ31, YJ31 1.65%, 10.69%, 3%, Further analysis showed that bioavailability strongly correlated maturity. GI, also bioavailability. These results can guide selection appropriate agent optimal ratio, offering new direction optimization composting process.
