Purpose of the study: This study attempts to answer question whether it is possible reduce quantity packaging waste generated by online stores through modification ways they operate.Due dynamic development e-commerce, problem becoming increasingly visibleits overall has increased significantly in recent years.Daily observations shoppers and review websites manufacturers, for e-commerce demonstrate that problems such as empty space boxes or use various types fillers too much plastic are important both buyers sellers.Given these phenomena expected growth trendsboth terms need pursue principles sustainable developmentactions should be taken implement first goal hierarchy: reduction quantities waste.Methodology/approach: In order this question, a survey was conducted among consumer electronics store employees responsible shipping products. The questionnaire contained questions responses arranged on Likert scale.Limitations: The touched upon issue reducing focused mainly changing approach at operational level.Meanwhile, would introduce changes already stage production. It known new materials products being developed which could used shipments, greener. It certainly make design stage.Implications: conclusions following primarily applicable management level. On their basis, guidelines tips shops can formulated. Value:The shows great potential staff spaces fillers, also confirms existence trend perceiving "green" more competitive.

The European Union aims for climate neutrality by 2050 and has proposed the Packaging Packing Waste Regulation (PPWR) to promote a circular economy, focusing on reducing packaging waste. In this context, comprehensive sustainability assessment liquid dairy product packaging, including beverage cartons, bottles to-go cups, in DACH region (Germany, Austria Switzerland) was conducted. aim consider various ecological aspects of environmental impacts circularity. As aspect recyclability is core PPWR, calculation central interest project. Here, major differences waste management infrastructure between countries could be identified. majority assessed falls below PPWR's 70% requirement, with Switzerland showing even lower due poor collection recycling infrastructure. Significant discrepancies efficiency exist, indicating unnecessary resource consumption, especially case cups. Additionally, carbon footprint materials can vary up ten times within certain categories, negatively impacting environment. Good results were identified use certified renewable resources. Overall, demonstrate several areas improvement light forthcoming regulatory requirements, which must met Germany Austria.

In the wine bottling process, thermoplastics are commonly used to manufacture crown of cork stoppers. The production agglomerated stoppers generates a type waste called powder (CoP) in large volumes with known properties but which still underutilized. At present, although there many agrocomposites available additives such as natural fibers or solid residues from agricultural products, no studies describing formation these petroleum-derived synthetic plastics combined dust reinforcement for polymeric matrix. present study describes novel agrocomposite, has been obtained by mixing polypropylene-type materials, they some most widely and versatile thermoplastics, dust, is product industry. composite directly, without need grafting, adhesive polymers, coupling agents. A superior mechanical performance compared unprocessed polymer was highlighted test results, thus evidencing reinforcing function played Therefore, this agrocomposite could be promising alternative replace plastics, currently experiencing high demand. use new well aligned sustainability strategies, principles circular economy, oriented towards fulfilment Sustainable Development Goals required European Union, considering that it contributes (a) recycling would otherwise difficult recover valorize; (b) reduction CO2 footprint; (c) promoting high-quality secondary raw materials.

Circular value propositions enable companies to build business models based on preservation and circular resource flows. also allow people live more sustainably by facilitating increased utilization efficiency. However, despite potential, transitions remain low. One reason may be that are less attractive because they often not developed with a user-centered approach thus fail meet people's everyday needs. Through interviews 13 literature study, this paper explores how consider user needs involve users during development of propositions. It identifies conditions actions aid offers. The findings synthesized in framework describing six enabling definition useful for economy practice research.
