Inspired by Denmark's ambitious renewable energy initiatives and its commitment to achieving a substantial 70 percent reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions 2030 net-zero 2050, this study delves deeper into examining the roles of source efficiency, utilization, environment-related technologies spanning years from 1990 2021. A comprehensive array wavelet tools, including coherence, wavelet-based ordinary least squares (WBOLS), Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT), Granger causality, correlation, was employed dissect these dynamics. The primary findings underscore potential for enhancing environmental sustainability through key indicators. For instance, employing WBOLS method reveals that increase consumption translates an approximate ∼0.02%, ∼0.03%, ∼0.54% GHG short-, medium-, long-term, respectively. Similarly, improvements efficiency yield remarkable outcomes. one natural utilization leads emission reductions ∼0.44%, ∼0.19%, ∼0.83% Moreover, 1 enhancement coal results ∼0.23%, ∼0.91% Furthermore, indicates surge 1% innovation corresponds ∼0.56%, ∼0.10%, ∼0.02% are notably substantiated CWT causality approach. Considering somewhat modest impact on emissions, especially recommends deliberate emphasis design formulation environmentally-related innovations prioritize attributes such as reliability, durability, adaptability.

Germany has not yet made significant progress toward achieving SDGs 7 and 13. This challenge can be attributed to the underlying financialization problem in Germany, as well implementation issues related energy efficiency, particularly coal gas, renewable consumption. Given these circumstances, is facing challenges reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Addressing this issue may necessitate a policy realignment, which primary focus of study. In context, our study employs various wavelet-based tools, including wavelet coherence, multivariate causality, delve into co-movements, direction causality between load capacity factor (LF) key factors such efficiency (gas coal), technological innovation, electricity, financial development, focusing on during period from 1990Q1 2020Q4. The results corroborated by cohesion, indicate that short medium term, improvements are associated with an increase LF, thereby contributing ecological quality. Furthermore, coherence underscore impact considering or effect third variable interrelationship LF its determinants, being more pronounced when taken account.
