As reported herein, we investigated the effect of feedstock composition, reactor type, and catalyst on olefinic composition oil recovered through plastic pyrolysis. We an open versus autoclave closed using polypropylene, linear low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), including both virgin waste mixed plastics as feedstocks. The obtained oils were analyzed for comparison to their olefin contents. Additionally, effects H2 gas absorbers such activated carbon magnesium powder oxidant manganese stearate evaluated regarding impact content derived from recycled HDPE. Our findings suggest that formation olefins (R–CH = CHR, where R is H or alkyl group) during pyrolysis can be tailored selection reactor, feedstock, catalysts, potentially enhancing production monomers polyolefin plastics.

Plastic (especially polyethylene), per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), modified plant oils, such as acrylated epoxidized soybean oil (AESO), are commonly used for paper coatings due to their excellent packaging performance. However, plastic- plant-oil-coated is not recyclable PFAS toxic. To address these issues, a photocurable AESO emulsion was blended with degradable cross-linker, oligoacrylate lactide/glycolide, enhance the recyclability of coated paper. In parallel approach, (ESO) glycolic methacrylic groups further promote both cases, emulsions were prepared, cast onto paper, UV-cured prior testing water resistance using Cobb-1800 kit rating tests, respectively. The repulpable recyclable, validated through standard recycling methods. Furthermore, vermicomposting tests confirmed compostability This work demonstrates unique, naturally derived alternative plastics in applications.
