Abstract Background Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a type of that affects the colon or rectum and occurs in individuals over age 50, although it can affect people all ages. Quercetin flavonoid, which plant pigment with antioxidant anti-inflammatory properties. Some studies have explored potential quercetin as an adjuvant therapy to enhance effectiveness chemotherapy radiation therapy. Methodology In proposed work, nano-biomaterials solid lipids such stearic acid (SA) tripalmitin (TpN) well surfactants tween 80 span were used prepare novel (QuR)-loaded-solid lipid nanoparticles (QuR-SLNs) for medical applications colorectal (CRC). The resulting bio-nano SLNs’ mean entrapment efficiency (EE) particle size (PS) optimized by Box–Behnken design (BBD) approach based on response-like surface methodology (RSM). variables include ratio ( X 1 ), surfactant 2 QuR-to-lipid 3 sonication time 4 homogenization 5 ). Requirements maximum EE (%) minimum PS (nm) preparation QuR-SLN. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, electron microscopy (SEM) then analyze SLN find crystalline state QuR relationship. addition, Caco-2 cells, at IC 50 (49 µM/mL), vitro cytotoxicity was attained. Results QuR-SLN had practically spherical shapes, % 97.8 ± 1.16% 132.16 4.1 nm, respectively. aqueous media, degree crystallinity modification investigated, incorporation release patterns showed high correlations both. results 41.12 1.6% QuR-SLNs released gradually course 48 h, demonstrating effective delayed release. apoptotic observations indicate apoptosis accounts majority cell death, while necrosis, constitutes very minor portion. conclusion, prepared might improve act ideal carrier delivery this treatment CRC.
