Abstract The synthesis of nanomaterials using plant extracts is considered to be a safer, environmentally friendly, and cost‐effective alternative method. In this work, Eysenhardtia polystachya (EP) extract choline chloride/urea (ChCl/urea)‐based deep eutectic solvent (DES) were used for the gold nanoparticles (AuNPs), without an additional stabilizing agent, which great interest in field biomedicine. antioxidant capacity phenolic content, involved reduction Au 3+ ions precursor evaluated. AuNPs characterized by ultraviolet‐visible spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared X‐ray diffraction, dynamic light scattering, ζ‐potential, confocal laser scanning microscopy, transmission electron microscopy. are mostly quasi‐spherical shape, with multiply‐twinned structure, average particle size 36 nm, characteristic absorption peak at 545 nm. colloidal stability was confirmed ζ‐potential value −32.8 mV. Finally, tested their potential cancer therapy human prostate adenocarcinoma PC‐3 cells. anti‐inflammatory activity EP also results showed that synthesized could potentially induce cell death have effect.
