Abstract In recent years, as China's economy has grown at a rapid pace and social welfare increased dramatically, environmental issues have become increasingly prominent. Whether companies undertaking digital transformation will improve the performance drawn focus of scholars. For this reason, paper uses microfirm data manufacturing industry from 2011 to 2020 explore relationship between corporate (CDT), market competition, performance, well its external mechanism. The study found that in analysis measured by firms' pollution emissions, improvement level CDT shows nonlinear trajectory impact on performance. With highly centralized environment, is further diminished. By analyzing variability degree can promote enhancing competition (reducing concentration). addition, perspective source reduction, also advances research conclusions contribute which guide end‐of‐pipe pollutant emissions reduction sustainable development enterprises.

The COVID-19 epidemic and the Russian–Ukrainian conflict have led to a global food energy crisis, making world aware of importance agroforestry development for country. Modern agriculture mechanization leads massive consumption increased CO2 emissions. At same time, China is facing serious demographic problems lack in domestic market. Chinese government faced with dilemma balancing environmental protection economic context “double carbon” strategy. This article uses annual World Bank statistics from 1990 2020 study asymmetric relationships between development, consumption, population size, on emissions using partial least squares path model (PLS-PM), autoregressive VAR vector time series model, Granger causality test. results are as follows: (1) relationship carbon dioxide emissions, size both direct indirect, an overall significant positive effect. There negative (2) test show that causes agroforestry; consumption; cause emissions; consumption. (3) In next three years, China’s will be influenced by impulse response emission factors, showing decreasing trend. trend, followed increasing development. downward then upward
