With the rapid development of new urbanization in Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB), it has hindered sustainable land resources and posed a great threat to regional ecological security (LES). So, is significance explore spatiotemporal evolution, convergence characteristics LES YREB. In this study, we chose panel data 11 provinces YREB from 2000 2020 measure analyze levels LES, degree differences, sources those distribution dynamics using entropy weight method, Dagum Gini coefficient three-dimensional kernel density estimation method. The study also combines variation spatial model examine context results indicate that its three main regions (upstream, midstream, downstream) are on an upward trend, showing clear pattern (high middle low east west), absolute differences decreasing. No polarization evident, between primary source overall differences. significant positive effect regions. These have number practical implications for YREB, which should take full account their environmental conditions, introduce ecology protection policies tailored local actively promote synergistic management upstream, downstream regions, provide quantitative support coordinated promotion protection.

As a strategy for building beautiful China, new-type urbanization (NTU) has an impact on the regional ecological security pattern. Clarifying coupling coordination relationship between NTU and ecosystem services (ESs) can help protection high-quality coordinated development. The methods of this paper are as follows. Firstly, integrated Valuation Ecosystem Services Tradeoffs (InVEST) model is used to calculate ESs, then evaluate level from multiple dimensions. On basis, degree relative development analyze ESs NTU. results indicate that in Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) decreased, 2000 2020. continues improve, but spatial imbalance more prominent. significantly negatively correlated, with population, economic, land, infrastructural having detrimental effect overall. In general, Es changes intermediate primary coordination, manifestation was "high east low west" dependence strong. Most areas show lagging ES disorders. To achieve orderly breakthrough steady-state phase while adhering law coupled coercive development, well serve guide making decisions create YREB clear skies, lush vegetation, stunning mountains, harmony people land.

Understanding the mechanisms that influence changes in ecosystem services (ESs) is critical to sustainable management of ecosystems. However, existing studies ignore different importance influencing factors ESs periods and do not consider spatiotemporal heterogeneity factors. In this study, we first quantified six for Yangtze River Delta (YRD) Pearl (PRD) 2000 2020 based on remote sensing data, including water yield, grain production, climate regulation, air purification, biodiversity, recreation. Then, eight were selected from natural human perspectives, random forest was used determine level ESs. Finally, GTWR model explore spatial temporal differentiation The results showed variation YRD PRD irregular 2020. 2000, (forest, topography, climate) dominated regional ESs, while (population, economy, activities) gradually replaced dominance multiple significant, interpret ecological implications detail propose a series policy recommendations. study could provide an important reference scientific guidance enhance sustainability developed regions.

River basins play an important role in national economic development and ecological security can be well expressed by ecosystem services (ESs) research. Due to rapid population growth climate change, it has had a significant impact on the of Yellow Basin (YRB). Although ESs have been assessed several studies, few studies used composite service index (CESI) their assessment. Thus, here, based InVEST model, bivariate spatial autocorrelation, econometric we studied YRB, with aim build CESI for evaluating overall YRB. We found that YRB from 1990 year–2020 year obvious spatiotemporal distribution law at city level grid scale, showing high characteristic southeast. The trend also showed difference regional distribution. There was positive correlation between urbanization indicators reflected urbanization, aggregation type among three similar. Furthermore, density strong spillover effect CESI, whereas land negative effect. Therefore, should pay attention transforming extensive model paying when laying out industrial structures. Additionally, is necessary control expansion built-up improve use efficiency, thereby reducing development. This study's findings serve as reference policy formulation major river worldwide.

The study of ecosystem service value (ESV) response to landscape pattern evolution has become a research hotspot in the fields geography and ecology, however, multi-scale mechanism ESV change Karst region is still unclear, which some extent restricts precise regulation regional ecosystems multi-level human-land coupling coordination. This focuses on Nanming River Basin (NMRB) Guizhou Province, representative karst basin southern China. Using various methods such as an equivalent factor, index, optimal parameter geo-detector(OPGD), we calculated ESVs, explored spatial temporal from 2000 2020, scientifically analyzed ESVs at sub-watershed scale (27 124 sub-watersheds) grid (2.4 km × 2.4 1.2 grids), respectively. results revealed that synergies have been dominant relationship between NMRB since beginning 21st century. At sub-basin scale, shape index (LSI) (21–43%) coefficient variation (SHAPE_CV) (20–35%) were main drivers geographical differentiation trade-offs/synergies among with few attenuation effect types weakened geographic differentiation. However, two-factor enhancement nonlinear exception. patch cohesion (COHESION) (4–49%) contiguity (CONTIG_MN) (15–39%) divergence trade-offs/synergies, factor interactions divergence. Urbanization is a key factor that threatens the stability of ecosystem services (ESs), which are crucial for maintaining ecological security and enhancing human quality life. Gaining insight into spatiotemporal differentiation service value (ESV) its coupling relationship with urbanization issue in promoting sustainable regional development. We employed various algorithms, including improved equivalence method, random forest model, mixed geographically temporally weighted regression coordination degree (CCD) to reveal evolution ESV driving mechanisms Lanzhou-Xining urban agglomeration (LXUA) from 1980 2020. In addition, we explored between combined index (CUI). The results showed following: (1) From 2020, interannual variation first decreased then increased, an increase 230 million yuan/annum 2020 compared 1980. Spatially, exhibits distribution pattern high south low north, west east. (2) Land use intensity (LUI) elevation contributed values exceeding 20% were most important drivers ESV. (3) average CCD CUI transitioned being severely unbalanced (0.19) slightly balanced (0.42). There was negative spatial correlation CUI, each cluster type distributed discretely space. Our study emphasizes areas characterized by robust integrity ESV, LUI constitutes main reason decline findings this can provide scientific basis coordinated development ESVs LXUA other cities.
