Styrene-butadiene (SBR) and acrylonitrile-butadiene (NBR) rubber blends with tetramethyl thiuram disulfide (TMTD) monosulfide (TMTS) accelerators environmentally friendly plasticizers, obtained from PET recycling biobased resources (LA/PG/PET/EG/LA), were prepared. The mechanical properties of the products tested compared those commercial dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP). TMTS was prepared by simple efficient one-pot synthesis dimethylamine, carbon disulfide, potassium cyanide, ammonium chloride as catalysts in recycled isopropanol/water azeotrope solvent. In a comparative study, methoxide, ethoxide, iodide, amide ions also used. two-step reaction mechanism involves oxidation amine salt dimethyldithiocarbamic acid to TMTD hydrogen peroxide sulfur elimination bond. Potassium cyanide appears be most nucleophile. simplicity operation, mild conditions, solvent recycling, high yields, applicability industrial level are advantages this process. Shore hardness, tensile strength, compression test results vulcanized before after aging showed similar for both accelerators, while somewhat better LA/PG/PET/EG/LA plasticizer.

In this study, pristine kiwi peel (KP) and nitric acid modified (NA-KP) based adsorbents were prepared evaluated for selective removal of cationic dye. The morphology chemical structure KP NA-KP fully characterized compared, results showed modification introduced more functional groups. Moreover, the adsorption kinetics isotherms malachite green (MG) by investigated discussed. that process MG onto followed a pseudo-second-order kinetic model Langmuir isotherm model, while pseudo-first-order Freundlich model. Notably, maximum capacity was 580.61 mg g−1, which superior to (297.15 g−1). Furthermore, thermodynamic studies demonstrated feasible, spontaneous, endothermic nature NA-KP. Importantly, selectivity towards dye against anionic methyl orange (MO). When molar ratio MG/MO 1:1, separation factor (αMG/MO) 698.10, 5.93 times KP. addition, hydrogen bonding, π-π interactions, electrostatic interaction played important roles during This work provided low-cost, eco-friendly, efficient option from dyeing wastewater.
