An analytical method for identifying the chemical constituents in Chinese herbal combination Jiuwei decoction was established using capillary electrophoresis coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry. Nine herbs were extracted a 60:40 (v/v) ethanol/water solution to prepare decoction. Electrophoretic separation carried out 50 µm i.d., 125 cm bare fused silica at constant temperature of 25°C sample injection. The composition analyzed and identified both positive negative ion modes. In mode, voltage 30 kV applied, 1% aqueous formic acid serving as background electrolyte (BGE), along 50:50 methanol/water containing 0.1% sheath liquid. -30 employed, utilizing mM ammonium acetate (pH 9.0) BGE, combined 5 MassHunter Qualitative Analysis software (version 10.0) utilized identify 52 compounds based on accurate mass, isotope abundance, isotopic patterns, fragmentation information. data compared Agilent Personal Compound Database Library traditional medicine (TCM), well multiple online databases (TCMSP, ChemSpider, PubChem, PubMed, Web Science) relevant literature. pathways representative also characterized. Atherosclerosis is a condition that associated with lipid accumulation in the arterial intima. Consequently, enlarging lesion, which also known as an atherosclerotic plaque, may close blood vessel lumen, thus leading to organ ischaemia. Furthermore, plaque rupture and initiate formation of thrombus, can cause acute background pathological eventually lead major cardiovascular diseases such coronary syndrome or ischaemic stroke. The disorder altered profile alarmins, stress response molecules are secreted due cell injury death induce inflammatory responses. High-mobility group box 1 (HMGB1), S100 proteins, interleukin-33, heat shock proteins (HSPs) affect behaviour endothelial cells vascular smooth muscle (VSMCs). Thus, alarmins control responses proliferation VSMCs, two important processes implicated pathogenesis atherosclerosis. In this review, we will discuss role pathophysiology atherosclerosis myocardial infarction.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are a global medical, social and economic problem. Currently, the search study of new biological markers that can provide early diagnosis CVD, serve as laboratory tool for evaluating effectiveness treatment or be used prognostic criteria risk stratification continues. The interest scientists is focused on type 1 lectin-like receptor oxidized low-density lipoproteins (LOX-1) diagnostic marker in CVD. presented literature review highlights potential significance LOX-1 It expected future clinical experimental studies will confirm possibility using an additional non-invasive prognosis assessment patients with Modulation levels expression pharmacological drugs may prove to promising direction
