Global warming augments the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes in vulnerable expectant mothers. Pioneering investigations into heat stress (HS) have predominantly centered on its direct impact reproductive functions, while potential roles gut microbiota, despite significant influence distant tissues, remain largely unexplored. Our understanding deleterious mechanisms HS and development effective intervention strategies to mitigate detrimental impacts are still limited.

Depression, projected to be the predominant contributor global disease burden, is a complex condition with diverse symptoms including mood disturbances and cognitive impairments. Traditional treatments such as medication psychotherapy often fall short, prompting pursuit of alternative interventions. Recent research has highlighted significant role gut microbiota in mental health, influencing emotional neural regulation. Fecal transplantation (FMT), infusion fecal matter from healthy donor into patient, emerges promising strategy ameliorate depressive by restoring microbial balance. The microbial-gut-brain (MGB) axis represents critical pathway through which potentially rectify dysbiosis modulate neuropsychiatric outcomes. Preclinical studies reveal that FMT can enhance neurochemicals reduce inflammatory markers, thereby alleviating behaviors. Moreover, shown promise clinical settings, improving gastrointestinal overall quality life patients depression. review highlights gut-brain depression need for further validate long-term safety efficacy FMT, identify specific therapeutic strains, develop targeted modulation strategies. Advancing our understanding could revolutionize treatment, shifting paradigm toward microbiome-targeting therapies.

Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) has shown promising therapeutic effects on mice with experimental colitis and patients ulcerative (UC). FMT modulates the Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signaling pathway to treat some other diseases. However, it remains unknown whether this modulation is also involved in treatment of UC.To clarify necessity TLR4 dextran sodium sulphate (DSS)-induced explain mechanism UC, through association analysis gut colon transcriptome mice.A mouse model was constructed wild-type (WT) TLR4-knockout (KO) mice. transplanted by gavage. Colon inflammation severity measured disease activity index (DAI) scoring hematoxylin eosin staining. Gut structure analyzed 16S ribosomal RNA sequencing. ABSTRACT Arsenic exposure and intestinal microbiota disorders may be related with Alzheimer's disease ( AD ), but the mechanism has not been elucidated. This study conducted chronic arsenic from rat's maternal body to adult offspring investigate mechanisms of characteristic effects on AD, further explored intervention effect fecal transplantation (FMT) arsenic‐mediated neurotoxicity. Transmission electron microscopy, HE staining, indicators were measured in control group, exposed FMT group. Western blot was used determine microtubule‐associated proteins Tau p‐Tau 396 , intestinal–brain barrier–related Claudin‐1 Occludin, ELISA detect content Aβ 1–42 16S rRNA sequencing flora feces. Results showed that could lead neurobehavioral defects rats, increase expression levels Tau, hippocampus p < 0.05), abundance Clostridium _ UCG‐014, decrease Roseburia Occludin colon 0.05). After intervention, decreased increased. In summary, caused disorder by changing inflammation‐related flora, thereby destroying gut–brain barrier causing rats. Although bacterial specific genus improved ‐related reduced after transplantation, it alleviate neurotoxicity exposure.
