Extracellular vesicles (EVs), especially those derived from stem cells, have emerged as a novel treatment for promoting wound healing in regenerative medicine. However, the clinical application of mammalian cells-derived EVs is hindered by their high cost and low yields. Inspired ability to mediate interkingdom communication, we explored therapeutic potential released probiotic strain Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) skin elucidated underlying mechanism involved. Using full-thickness wound-healing mouse models, found that LGG-EVs accelerated procedures, including increased re-epithelialization promoted angiogenesis. vitro experiments, further demonstrated boosted proliferation migration capacities both epithelial endothelial well tube formation. miRNA profiling analysis revealed miR-21-5p was highly enriched LGG-EV significantly level recipient cells. Mechanically, induced regulatory effects via mediated metabolic signaling rewiring. Our results suggest LGG could serve promising candidate accelerating possibly treating chronic impaired conditions.

The growing interest in maintaining a youthful appearance has encouraged an accelerated development of innovative, minimally invasive aesthetic treatments for facial rejuvenation and regeneration. close correlation between tissue repair, regeneration, aging paved the way application regenerative medicine principles cosmetic dermatology. theoretical substrates applications dermo-aesthetics are plentiful. However, dermatology is emerging field needs more data vivo trials to reach consensus on standardization methods. In this review, we summarize techniques as they apply dermatology, suggesting unexplored fields future directions.

Nucleic acids, lipids, and other cell components can be found within different types of extracellular vesicles (EVs), which include apoptotic bodies (ABs), large (LEVs), small (SEVs). Release LEVs from cells reduced by genetic or pharmacological inhibition the enzyme acid sphinogomyelinase (aSMase), indeed several studies have demonstrated a role for clinically approved aSMase inhibitor imipramine in blocking LEV release, including response to UVB exposure. Given that exposure keratinocytes radiation results generation UVR photoproducts DNA subsequently association with ABs SEVs, we examined how impacts release containing at an early time point after Using model systems, cultured vitro, discarded human surgical skin ex vivo, biopsies obtained treated subjects, these pilot suggest treatment stimulates CPD-containing, SEV-associated DNA. These surprising findings indicate SEV pathways could linked UVB-irradiated may exacerbate systemic effects UVR-damaged throughout body.
