Photoluminescent polymers can be divided into two types of structures: one is the well-known conventional π-conjugated rigid chain bearing chromophores in their side chains, and other common flexible without main or chains but with a feature clustering electron-rich and/or dipole groups chains. In this work, we found new photoluminescent polymer comprising theophylline (T) imidazole (I) residues suitable ratio on polystyrenic block (PVB-T/I). We synthesized copolymer (denoted as P2) consisting hydrophobic PVB-T/I hydrophilic poly(N-isopropylacrylamide), investigated its self-assembly micelles micellar features, such thermo-responsibility, fluorescence emission, pH, metal ion-dependent photoluminescence, detail. Especially, self-assembled from P2 showed intrinsic blue emission which was emitted charge transfer association between T I intra-chains. Weakening by adjustment pH addition ions could evidently reduce photoluminescence state. Very interestingly, among many cations, only Pd2+, chelate strongly theophylline, quenched micelles. Therefore, functioned an optical sensor for Pd(ii) ion not spectroscopy also naked eye.

A new type of green carbon quantum dots (ILB-CQDs) was prepared by hydrothermal method using ionic liquid as a modifier and grape skin source, obtained from hydrogen-bonded lattice structure preparation, which makes the CQDs in ring-like stable with stability period more than 90 day. There is also catalytic effect on cellulose, show good advantages, such uniform particle size, high yield (26.7%), very fluorescence performance. This smart material for selective detection Fe3+ Pd2+. It has limit 0.001 nM 0.23 µM Pd2+ pure water. 3.2 nmol/L 0.36 µmol/L actual water, both meet requirements WHO drinking water standards. And there to achieve 90% restoration effect.

A simple coumarin hydrazine Schiff base bearing a thioether recognition fragment (compound CBBS) has been rationally designed and easily prepared. CBBS exhibited an excellent selectivity for Pd(II) low detection limit of 65 nM (S/N = 3). The fluorescence emission intensities at 495 nm were linear to concentrations in wide range from 0 80 μM. Moreover, well used imaging living A549 cells. as coordination-based fluorescent probe will inspire the researchers develop polymer selective adsorption Pd(II).
