The species of the genus Euphrasia present important medicinal potential according to their traditional uses. However, few studies aim sustain this fact by scientific evidence. study aimed explore phytochemical profile and investigate antioxidant, antimicrobial antiproliferative E. officinalis subsp. pratensis Fr. (EO) stricta J.P.Wolff ex J.F.Lehm (ES). tested samples consisted ethanolic extracts. identification quantification phenolic compounds were performed using spectrophotometric LC–MS/MS methods. antioxidant capacity was evaluated DPPH, FRAP xanthine oxidase Antimicrobial properties screened disk diffusion, broth microdilution anti-biofilm assays, while assessed on a colorectal adenocarcinoma human cancer cell line (DLD-1). analysis showed chlorogenic acid rutin as dominant constituents in activity assays for both samples; vitro exhibited, especially against Gram-positive bacteria, an inhibitory observed proliferation DLD-1 line. findings contribute recommendation EO ES prevention treatment oxidative stress-related pathologies, microbial infections.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are a global health problem. The mortality associated with them is one of the highest. Essentially, CVDs occur when heart or blood vessels damaged. Oxidative stress an imbalance between production reactive oxygen species (free radicals) and antioxidant defenses. Increased can cause cardiac vascular injuries, leading to CVDs. Antioxidant therapy has been shown have beneficial effects on Plants rich source bioactive antioxidants our planet. Several classes these compounds identified. Among them, carotenoids phenolic most potent antioxidants. This review summarizes role some (a/β-carotene, lycopene lutein), polyphenols such as acids (caffeic, p-coumaric, ferulic chlorogenic acids), flavonoids (quercetin, kaempferol epigallocatechin gallate), hydroxytyrosol in mitigating by studying their biological mechanisms. Through detailed analysis, we aim provide deeper understanding how natural be integrated into cardiovascular strategies help reduce overall burden CVD.

Rhododendron arboreum , known as Nepal’s national flower and belonging to the Ericaceae family, thrives throughout Himalayan region. This study investigates antioxidant antimicrobial potential of flowers. Three different extracts were prepared at concentrations ranging from 10 640 μ g/mL assessed for their total phenolic content (TPC), flavonoid (TFC), DPPH radical scavenging activity. Results showed significant accumulation compounds ( P < 0.05), with TPC levels 37.78, 67.29, 53.46 mg GAE/g TFC values 49.46, 67.46, 65.71 QE/g LGP, LGE, LGA g/mL, respectively. activity was highest in LGE (96.33%), followed by (87.11%) LGP (76.59%), compared standard (77.38%). The antibacterial properties against Aeromonas hydrophila Staphylococcus aureus Escherichia coli 100% concentration, inhibition rates 15%, 16%, 17% LGA, These findings indicate that petals, rich bioactive compounds, possess strong properties, making them candidates developing cost‐effective therapeutic formulations. Further research should focus on isolating specific understanding molecular mechanisms enhance efficacy.

Abstract Mistletoe , Viscum album L., ( VA ) known as “Ökse Otu” in Turkey, is a hemiparasitic shrub that grows especially on the trunks and crowns of broadleaf trees. This study aimed to determination ’s antioxidant compounds evaluate their vitro activities growing twelve different host trees silico approach against survivin protein. At same time, active ingredients determined HPLC analysis, were performed with molecular docking dynamics analysis protein, an apoptosis inhibitor protein cancer. Antioxidant methanolic extracts organs determined. Phytochemical properties samples taken from hosts varied well. Total phenolic content was at highest rate fruits, followed by leaves branches, respectively. flavonoid amounts leaves, branches activity values evaluated DPPH (using radical), ABTS radical cation) FRP tests. The plant rate, During Quercetin, Rosmarinic acid Catechin found bind effectively. These substances can have potential become pharmaceutical working proteins future.
