Abstract Excessive electromagnetic pollution caused by waves can interfere with the normal use of electronic devices or cause unnecessary damage to human health. Although conductive polymer composites (CPCs) are used replace traditional metals as an effective strategy for managing undesirable waves, CPCs have a non‐negligible trade‐off in enhancement interference (EMI) shielding effectiveness and absorption coefficient because their reflection‐dominated EMI mechanism. Therefore, alleviate secondary pollution, absorption‐dominated asymmetric structures urgently needed. Recently, structural designs advanced significantly, but seldom been summarized discussed detail. Consequently, this review first systematically summarizes current progress after brief clarification about necessity configuration structure design. Afterward, various fiber, layered, porous, composite described. Besides, versatility is briefly introduced. Finally, challenges prospects proposed guide future advancement field.

Abstract The proliferation of electronic communication technologies has intensified challenges associated with electromagnetic interference (EMI), necessitating the advancement flexible shielding materials that combine high performance low reflectivity. Here, a high‐performance PI/Fe 3 O 4 ‐MXene nanocomposite film sandwich structure was successfully prepared using layer‐by‐layer assembly strategy. modulation multilayer effectively realizes functionalized integration MXene, Fe , and polyimide (PI), establishing cascaded “absorption‐reflection‐reabsorption” mechanism for wave shielding. films reveal excellent EMI (57.0 dB) increased absorption efficiency. Notably, maintains integrity across extreme operational conditions including cryogenic (−196°C) to elevated thermal environments (300°C), acidic exposure (pH = 2), mechanical stress (1000 bending cycles), ultrasonic treatment, attributed PI's inherent stability interfacial dissipation within multilayered system. In addition, exhibits outstanding properties (26.7 MPa tensile strength at 21.7% strain), exceptional stability, insulation (0.083 W (m K) −1 ). composite holds great potential practical applications, particularly in fields devices technologies. Highlights were by maintain stable under variety conditions. have properties.
