Background:
Ergonomic
awareness
training
programs
are
known

mitigating
workplace
risks

decreased
Musculoskeletal
Disorders
(MSDs).
MSDs
were
prevalent
in
manufacturing
including
the
plastic
industry,
causing
significant
health
economic
impacts.
However,
research
on
ergonomic
interventions
this
sector
is
limited.
Objective:
The
primary
aim
of
study
assess
effectiveness
among
manual
handling
workers
tray
a
focus
tasks
related
forming
packing.
Methods:
This
was
conducted
facility
Kulai,
Johor,
that
targeted
involved
high-risk
such
as
packing,
exposure
hazards
up
12
hours
daily.
A
total
108
participated,
receiving
completing
survey
questionnaires.
Results:
results
revealed
post-training
showed
improvement
(p<0.01)
workers'
awareness,
indicating
program
enhancing
knowledge
(t=12.92),
attitudes
(t=14.77),
practices
(t=16.29).
Conclusion:
findings
highlight
critical
role
enhanced
emphasizing
necessity
industry-specific,
customized
industry.

suggested
implementation

focused

long-term

Purpose
