Dengue fever (DF) is a common mosquito-borne viral infection caused by any of the four dengue virus (DENV) serotypes. In recent years, global incidence DF has risen rapidly, which widely threatened health millions people in United States, Southeast Asia, and Western Pacific. The challenges for prevention control DENV have become increasingly severe. Over advances area research been continuously updating. this review, we provide an updated more in-depth overview epidemiology pathogenesis, along with progress diagnostic approaches (including methods to address cross-reactivity other flaviviruses) expanded discussion current vaccine development, such as CYD-TDV (Dengvaxia), TV003/TV005, new TAK-003. This comprehensive perspective aims offer references prevention, clinical diagnosis, disease.

The Middle East has witnessed a greater spread of infectious Dengue viruses, with serotype 2 (DENV-2) being the most prevalent form. Through this work, multi-epitope peptide vaccines against DENV-2 that target E and nonstructural (NS1) proteins were generated through an immunoinformatic approach. MHC class I II LBL epitopes among NS1 envelope sequences predicted their antigenicity, toxicity, allergenicity investigated. Studies population coverage denoted high prevalence envelope-E different countries where endemic. Further, both CTL HTL retrieved from exhibited conservancies' percentages other DENV serotypes (1, 3, 4). Three vaccine constructs created expected immune responses for estimated using C-IMMSIM HADDOCK (against TLR 2,3,4,5, 7). Molecular dynamics simulation construct TLR4 binding affinity stability receptor which might foretell favorable in vivo interaction responses.

Dengue virus represents a global public health threat, being prevalent in tropical and subtropical regions, with an increasing geographical distribution rising incidence worldwide. This mosquito-borne viral agent causes wide range of clinical manifestations, from mild febrile illness to severe cases potentially fatal outcomes due hemorrhage shock syndrome. The etiological agent, dengue (DENV), has four distinct serotypes, each capable inducing outcomes. current therapeutic landscape remains limited, management strategies mainly focused on supportive cares. However, recent advances pharmaceutical research have yielded promising developments anti-dengue drugs. Extensive investigations been conducted various synthetic compounds, including JNJ-1802, 1,4-pyran naphthoquinones, arylnaphthalene lignan derivatives. Additionally, natural compounds derived medicinal plants such as Hippophae rhamnoides, Azadirachta indica, Cymbopogon citratus demonstrated potential antiviral properties both vitro vivo studies, based inhibition DENV replication. none these are date approved by the U.S. Food Drug Administration (FDA). Although many vaccines recognized candidates stages trials, only limited number protective efficacy against infection. aspect underscores need for highly effective immunization interventions, whether botanical sources or through manufacturing, that exhibit low adverse effects. review examines innovative approaches prevention treatment, encompassing phytochemical strategies.

Abstract Background The prevalence of dengue fever (DF), a mosquito-borne viral disease, is rising worldwide. Its severe manifestations like thrombocytopenia and plasma leakage are associated with increased mortality. Ultrasound-detected gallbladder wall thickening (GBWT) has been suggested as potential indicator the severity disease. Aims This systematic review meta-analysis evaluated predictive value GBWT in identifying patients at risk for dengue. Methods Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, we conducted search Web Science, PubMed, Embase, Scopus. Among inclusion criteria were original studies that assessed across various categories. Then, performed using random effects model subgroup analyses based on to determine relationship between Results For meta-analysis, 19 qualified criteria. There was significant association dengue, according odds ratio (OR) 2.35 (95% CI 1.88–2.82, p < 0.001). analysis revealed consistent results (OR: 2.65) 2.26), among other Conclusions A reliable ultrasound indicator, can help identify early on, improving clinical decision-making patient outcomes. However, possibility differential diagnosis requires cautious interpretation.

Dengue fever, especially in its severe forms such as dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) and shock syndrome (DSS), is a significant global health concern. This case report discusses the anesthetic management of 17-month-old male with complicated by profound anemia, ascites, secondary infection Acinetobacter baumannii. The child presented tachycardia, tachypnea, thrombocytopenia, hepatomegaly. His critical condition required multidisciplinary approach to ensure optimal care favorable outcome. Preoperative assessment highlighted need for addressing hematological abnormalities fluid imbalances. Thrombocytopenia was enough necessitate platelet transfusions. Anemia addressed red blood cell Fluid balance hard maintain because ascites danger overload. Monitoring adjustments had be very meticulous. Secondary bacterial specific antibiotics, which were begun early. Since critically surgical intervention, general anesthesia administered escharotomy. Invasive monitoring arterial central venous catheters allowed continuous hemodynamics, status, oxygenation. Collaboration between anesthesiology team PICU staff during perioperative period also crucial. managed postoperatively PICU, close vital signs, respiratory functions, fluid-electrolyte balance. A effort ensured substantial clinical improvement, proof value teamwork-based approach. Specialized interdepartmental collaboration complex pediatric patients are crucial factors achieve safety promote recovery among most vulnerable populations.
