Abstract Integrated optical antennas are essential components of phased arrays for applications in light detection and ranging technology. To achieve larger distances, wider ranges, higher scanning resolutions, it is imperative to employ millimeter-scale or longer effective lengths a narrow beam width, coupled with high radiation efficiency. In the refractive index contrast silicon photonics platform, achieving far-field width efficiency simultaneously formidable challenge. article, subwavelength grating waveguide antenna interleaved grooved lateral radiating block proposed. The simulation result shows that an length about 3.3 mm attained, corresponding 0.02°, 0.785 at wavelength 1550 nm. It also found crosstalk between adjacent designed range 1.49 μ m ∼ 1.61 less than −15.6 dB.

ABSTRACT Liquid chromatography‐mass spectrometry (LC‐MS) has become an indispensable tool for elucidating molecular structures and quantifying diverse compounds within complex mixtures. Despite its versatility, it faces various challenges such as ion suppression, low sensitivity, analyte instability, matrix effects, which are being overcome by different kinds of offline online derivatization techniques to improve specificity reduce potential interferences. In this context, considerable advancements have been made in reviewing critically evaluating a wide range developed methods techniques; however, little attention given post‐column (PCD) LC‐MS. Therefore, comprehensive review highlights state‐of‐the‐art LC‐MS with specific focus on types chemical physical PCD, in‐source derivatization. It also examines the latest instrumentation developments, influencing factors, explores applications food, proteomics, biology, pharmaceuticals, environmental analysis from past four decades. Besides, role PCD along outlining advantages disadvantages. Furthermore, special emphasis is prospects insights developing more versatile LC‐PCD‐MS methodologies, address ongoing aim open new research avenues analysts.

In column derivatisation (ICD) has been applied to antioxidants in food and agricultural matrices. ICD's ability reduce the post-column reaction loop volume is critical investigate chromatographically before future applications are established. Due large number of (PCD) assays, this out scope study cover one article. Hence, communication, we strictly focused on implementing ICD its associated PCD's loop. Specifically, reversed phase (RP) separations where take three different schemes: (i) amino acids derivatised with ninhydrin, (ii) o-phthalaldehyde (OPA), (iii) sulfonamides fluorescamine exemplify case scenarios. This communication can be used as a practical guide for analysts. order workflow's largest reduction volume: OPA, enabled reduced significantly from 500 µL down 80 µL. drastic resulted chromatographic gain performance – theoretical plates (N) (55–167 %) peak height sensitivity (35–181 %). For fluorescamine, setup 200 µL, demonstrated significant improvements efficiency N (33–324 %), (4–33 The PCD could not decreased, decreased signal noise (S/N).
