ABSTRACT Herein, novel nanocomposites based on reduced graphene oxide decorated copper nanoparticles (rGO/CuO) were prepared by the in situ co‐precipitation method. The structural, morphological, and optical characterization of as‐prepared was performed powdered x‐ray diffraction (p‐XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier‐transform infrared (FTIR), Raman, ultraviolet–visible (UV–Vis) spectroscopy, respectively. exhibited better photocatalytic activity rhodamine B dye with maximum ~94% degradation 120 min a rate constant 0.2353 −1 under optimized conditions. Furthermore, effects solution pH catalyst loading are studied process. Therefore, this state‐of‐the‐art strategy for decoration CuO onto surface rGO nanosheets could be an ideal platform fabricating highly efficient photocatalysts.
