Abstract Self-harm is a growing phenomenon among young people. This study examined self-harm rates in youths over five years, before and after the onset of COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, we explored risk factors influencing repetition. We conducted retrospective analysis people under 25 years who presented with at an emergency department Seville, Spain, from January 1st 2018 to December 31st 2022. This trend persists even as wanes. Intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) serve critical steppingstone between community services, providing comprehensive psychiatric care at-risk youth.
