Abstract This groundbreaking study investigates the integration of Amazon Alexa, an emotionally intelligent AI platform, into English language teaching through adaptive learning system. Using a mixed-methods design, examined impact this innovative platform on speaking skills 40 high school students (aged 16–18) from Varamin County, Iran. The experimental group (n = 20) engaged with Alexa's which provides AI-driven real-time feedback based emotional intelligence (EI); in contrast, control received instruction using ChatGPT-3.5 over eight sessions following pre-test to ensure homogeneity. employed concurrent mixed methods quantitative data collected researcher-developed Speaking Assessment System and Perception Questionnaire; qualitative were derived classroom observation checklists semi-structured interviews 15), focusing state monitoring anxiety reduction patterns. Statistical analyses revealed significant positive correlation between EI-based performance (p < 0.05, η2 0.42), showing significantly improved (F(1,38) 24.63, p 0.05). detection capabilities demonstrated 94% accuracy identifying responding learners' states. represents paradigm shift technology, leveraging address cognitive aspects acquisition simultaneously. findings have implications for global market, particularly addressing barriers learning. platform's scalability cross-cultural applicability make it potentially transformative solution worldwide, opening up new avenues development educational technology.

Online learning has become increasingly prevalent in the era of digitalization, impacted by both internet penetration and COVID-19 pandemic. Classroom interaction, as a key factor evaluating students' experience online settings, been identified to be associated with their academic achievement. While previous research underscored significance classroom interaction language there is relatively limited on its relationships student satisfaction learning. This intends explore mediating role correlation between perceived contexts. Given this, paper reports quantitative-method study that examined how Chinese EFL tertiary students three types (i.e., learner-learner, learner-instructor, learner-content), satisfaction, influences Data was collected from 319 university through convenience sampling self-designed questionnaire, then analyzed help SPSS. The results showed that: 1) had moderately positive perceptions learning, but were neutral about satisfaction; 2) correlations observed learning; 3) predicted partially this relationship. findings have implications for strengthening effectiveness teaching post-COVID-19 era.

ABSTRACT As artificial intelligence (AI) gains prominence, its integration into second language (L2) /foreign (FL) instruction has become a significant trend. Despite the considerable promise of AI for L2/FL learning, more research is still needed on effects student academic engagement in literature classes and corresponding emotional experiences. This study, therefore, aimed to examine use English as foreign (EFL) learners' engagement, experience was also qualitatively explored. Students were allocated experimental group ( N = 48), who received integrated with AI, control traditional without assistance. Quantitative data collected using an FL scale, supplemented by individual semi‐structured interviews qualitative phase. The results indicated that integrating EFL positive effect students' cognitive, social engagement. Moreover, experiences found be abundant dynamic, exerting influence their study provides valuable insights educators researchers regarding instruction.

Also as an emotionally challenging occupation, it often results high levels stress consequently burnout which become a prominent concern mainstream recent years. As main issue education, emotions should be taken into account positive regulation been highlighted literature. Therefore, underscores critical significance Chinese English foreign language (EFL) well-being relations burnout. To fulfill research objectives, 398 teachers participated assessment studied concepts. The findings, analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), reveal both variables significantly contribute reduction job teachers. This discusses key implications, limitations while also offering suggestions for future directions.

ABSTRACT The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly impacted education, yet few scholars have explored AI‐assisted classrooms, particularly in language education China. Understanding the roles classroom climate, AI literacy, and resilience is essential, as these factors foster positive learning environments enhance student engagement. In this sense, study, grounded Social Cognitive Theory, employs structural equation modelling to investigate influencing engagement Chinese English a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms. It examines data from 606 university EFL learners explore interactions among variables mediating role resilience. findings indicate that all predict engagement, highlighting importance both environmental cognitive fostering active participation. Furthermore, serves crucial mediator, linking climate literacy This study provides some insights for educators policymakers, emphasising need cultivate supportive environments, promote programs, strengthen students' optimise educational settings.
