Understanding the adsorption mechanisms and interaction of dye pollutants microplastics in natural water is vital to evaluating potential risks. This review article discusses bibliometric analysis behavior dyes microplastics. The also examined impact environmental (salinity, pH, temperature) physicochemical (particle size active area) factors on uptake by maximum amount Cyan adsorbed onto polyethylene was reported be 2874.4 mg/g. Polystyrene (PS) exhibited highest capacity for aniline (0.060 mg/g) due its surface area 0.7214 m2/g. In 50 % studies microplastics, equilibrium condition reached within 24 h. However, a few cases, achieved 8 days. desorption efficiency malachite green simulated gastric fluid at high temperatures 81.4 %. concentration isotherm their varied widely (5–160 mg/L). According criterion R2 > 0.95, Langmuir demonstrates better fit with data most studies. lowest observed pH 1.5 under same conditions. Studies have shown that higher can increase ability attract release organic inorganic pollutants. ecological effects 'microplastic-dye' organisms methods removing were investigated. paper has provided assessment risks aquatic organisms.

Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a significant increase in the global use of face masks, with reports indicating that approximately 129 billion people worldwide them every month. Many masks contain MPs, which can pose environmental and health risks. aim this study is assess properties MPs are released from ten different mask brands. were selected weighed, immersed deionized distilled water, stirred, into water collected using cellulose ester membrane. then analyzed an optical microscope observe their shape color. results showed rates N95 surgical 3D 54, 23, 23%, respectively. had highest percentage due its heavy weight. observed shapes terms abundance percentage, filamentous > spherical irregular fragmented. Furthermore, majority found be transparent or black This offers valuable insights mechanisms behind release disposable shedding light on critical issue microplastic pollution resulting waste.
