Abstract The increasing need for electrode materials exhibiting improved performance to meet the requirements of supercapacitors is on rise. Hybrid electrodes, which combine reduced graphene (RGO) oxide with transition metal-based oxides such as cobalt (CoO), have emerged promising due their impressive specific capacitance and cost-effectiveness, attributed synergistic properties. In present study, a binder-free RGOCoO composite was synthesized using facile, fast, simple one-step co-precipitation method. This done improve stability supercapacitor applications. underwent comprehensive characterization utilizing various surface analytical techniques, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), fourier-transform infrared (FTIR), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) analysis. Electrochemical measurements fabricated hybrid revealed at current density 2 A cm− 2 132.3 mF 2, an 95.91% retention after 7000 cycles. results from electrochemical impedance (EIS) highlighted meager low relaxation time constant 0.53 s electrode. reason behind this can be linked interactions, minimal charge transfer resistance exhibited by porous without binders. innovative synthesis represents significant advancement in development high-efficiency diverse large-scale
