Introduction
Photodynamic

has

attention

In

formulations

skin,
followed
by
illumination,
offers
distinct
advantages.
Topical
PDT
simplifies
providing
easy
access
increasing
drug
concentration
within
target
area,
confining
residual
photosensitivity
treated
skin.
However,
effectiveness
is
often
hindered
challenges
such
as
limited
penetration
or
instability.
Additionally,
hypoxic
tumor
environment
poses
further
limitations.
Nanocarriers
present
a
promising
solution
address
these
challenges.
