Abstract Graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C 3 N 4 ) have attracted great attention in the field of energy conversion and storage due to its unique layered structure, tunable bandgap, metal‐free characteristic, high physicochemical stability, easy accessibility. 2D g‐C nanosheets features short charge/mass transfer path, abundant reactive sites functionalization, which are beneficial optimizing their performance different fields. However, reviews comprehensive applications for rare. Herein, this review first introduces properties bulk nanosheets, then summarizes synthetic strategies detail, such as thermal oxidation etching, chemical exfoliation, ultrasonication‐assisted liquid phase vapor deposition, others. Emphasis is focused on rational design development diversified storage, including photocatalytic H 2 evolution, CO reduction, electrocatalytic O alkali‐metal ion batteries, lithium‐metal lithium–sulfur metal‐air supercapacitors. Finally, current challenges perspectives discussed.

Abstract Given severe harmfulness of pesticides, unique characteristics peroxidase‐mimetic nanozymes, and favorable prospects paper‐based analytical devices (PADs), it is highly desirable to construct a nanozyme‐based PAD for intelligent analysis pesticide without enzyme/aptamer/antibody interference O 2 . Herein, 2D nanosheet‐like V 5 (2D‐VONz) with exclusive activity controllably prepared under the optimal reactants concentration reaction temperature. Experimental characterizations demonstrate that 2D‐VONz exhibits high affinity catalytic rate, oxidation dependent on •OH yielded from decomposition H catalyzed by 2D‐VONz, performance relevant π–π stacking force‐controlled surface zeta potential changed substrates, giving comprehensive understand inherent mechanism. Interestingly, inhibited glyphosate (Gly), then exploited develop PAD, which, Gly declines prevent catalyzing 3,3′,5,5′‐tetramethylbenzidine, contributing rapid, naked‐eye, portable using smartphone. The current strategy preparing nanozyme, investigating mechanism, developing achieving direct sensing will set up new avenues improve performance, strengthen practicability, broaden application scope nanozymes.
